@@cleoat1 exactly! How in the hell are they underrated? They won a Grammy, right? They have a large following and fill large venues and sellout these venues. They are on the mainstream radio. They have 100s of millions of UA-cam views for their videos and only a very, very few alternative rock bands can make this claim. When I think of underrated when it comes to rock bands with a mix of multiple genres that make them alternative rock, alternative metal etc I think of the Dutch band called The Gathering, especially when Anneke Van Giersbergen was their vocalist from 1994 to 2006. That band just didn't catch on in the USA but was very big in most of Europe and had a large following in South America, especially in Chile. The Gathering is the definition of underrated. Kings of Leon is the definition of a great all around alternative rock band in the same category as U2.
Underrated?
No matter the band, there is always someone that says the album or artist is underrated. Some obviously are but not the Kings!
It’s so hard for me to fathom how Caleb was ever insecure about his voice. So good to hear it again. Long Live Nashville
Caleb and Adelle duet? In my opinion, Nashville is a relaxing place to live but doesn't deserve KOL in terms of the music scene. I believe that the pop--rock-country culture there has only held them back in recent years. However, it sounds like KOLhas persevered even in 2020 and found a great creative balance. Love these special new songs! They don't need to be an obscure indy punk band like the UK hyper-critical press STILL wants them to be. They have already done that and we always have those early songs to cherish. I rather focus on the present and hope for the future.

I loved KOL since I was in High School. I love how their music takes me away every time I hear it. It’s otherworldly, and a dreamscape for me. I feel hopeful when I close my eyes and listen. This is by far my favourite album. It makes me feel reminiscent of things that haven’t happened yet.
My wife and I are having a baby girl. She is our first. I am so happy to have been blessed with both of my girls. My wife and I have been together for 3 years but it feels like I knew her for a life time. We thought that we could never conceive. Each time we tried , we failed. I felt the pull between us each time we failed. Each time we gained a little hope it made it so much harder for us. We almost gave up hope. Until, we one day we received a call. The voice on the other line told us we are going to be parents.
Hearing this album for the first time, and closing my eyes while listening I am taken away. I am reminded that their is always hope. I am taken away to a dream where I can see myself happy. I can’t wait to meet my baby girl and show her the world and how beautiful it is to be a part of it. I am definitely going to take her on drive and put this album on and remind her that she will always be our miracle. That their is always good out there. Thank you KOL.

Takes me back to 2002 driving around in my brothers car blasting out youth and young manhood. My favourite band ever since seeing them live in Manchester and got me into playing guitar. Please come back to Liverpool soon!! Phenomenal live. Can’t wait for this!!

I first heard them in Cloverfield. Bought their cds the next day. So I’m pre-only by the night. But I really wish I would’ve found them sooner. Good years could’ve been better.
Their first AOL session is what captured me. I knew back then they were going to be huge and I have been following them ever since.

Grew up with my dad playing their older music. Haven't seen him in about 7 years but my love for this band has only grown.

Driving home on a dreary winter night, when this comes up in my Spotify after searching for some of their older stuff. As soon as the drum line started I fist pumped with a “oh fuck yeah”
This is like their core sound, with lyrics just vague and whimsical enough to project whatever it is you’re feeling.
"if it ain't broke, don't fix it." this album is on par with anything so far. kind of glad they're not trying to take some experimental road like "techno bluegrass" haha probably why they've been so solid for so long. they don't abandon their sound but depend on quality songwriting
On par with anything since that sex is on fire rubbish perhaps, hardly reaching the heights of first, second and possibly third albums.

Welcome back boys, it’s been a minuet. Pulled up the video after listening on Spotify. This is a keeper. So excited about this new release. Been a fan listening since the beginning and this song reminds of those days back in 2005 when Aha Shake Heartbreak was all I listened to for 6 months after it was released. Drove from Ohio to Chicago and back blasting it all the way on our way to Lollapalooza. Those were the days and this song just stirred up some really great memories from that time. I was so sorry to hear that Betty Ann passed in 2021 and my sincerest condolences go out to you all and the rest of your family ❤

No pasa nada Jared solo q tampoco pienso q son la crema de todo. Y sabemos q se an vuelto más comerciales por temas de contrato. Aveces no es necesario evolucionar y de ejemplos hay muchos.

My favorite band since 2009, with this i remember the first time i heard them, my brother bought their cd and put it on the car, it was use somebody the first song i heard and the fact that Kings of Leon always have the same vibe, style, i dont know what exactly, but is the band that hold all my memories, because each album is a different stage in my life. Thankiu kol for that, definitely unique.
