When michael comes in it still gives me chills, his voice was beautiful.
One of my favorites of the Jackson's.
This was one of the first videos with special audio and visual effects of this caliber.
Great song!
One of my favorite off this Album
these effects were state of the art for 1980 when it was released.
1981
It was made in 80 but was released for the tour in 81.
@@Tekzeiro84. No 1981, watch the video and at the end it says 1981, the song was recorded in 1980 and the video 81
I remember all this well…I graduated high school in 1981. I remember the sound of the effects drowning out the song was a big complaint , but the visuals were very state of the art. This was before MTV, which began in the summer of 1981, as well, but at that time, MTV refused to play black artists, which they claimed was because those artists were of the wrong genre. This included Michael Jackson. As a result, most of us never saw this video until a few years later.
@@tur74d56 The video was done in 1980 but released in 1981. The song was recorded in 1980 and released in 1980 on the Triumph album
Yaay!! There is a reason this happens to be first on my own playlist! Needless to say girl, great pick for a reaction. You're soo right, this should be streamed everywhere in these times. So relevant today. "All the colors of the world should be
loving each other wholeheartedly" -MJ
My fave Jackson’s song
The more I hear this the more I'm missing Michael Jackson!!!😢😢😢🙏🙏💖💖💖💖
MJ was just a genius 🎶🎼✌️
Absolutly !
The young boys didn't think so.
Happy Friday beautiful queen! This is one of my favorite Michael Jackson/The Jacksons video...sorry, short film...of all time. Thank you for making my day brighter.
That was Special, Jayy!!! Awesome Reaction!!! I'm glad I subscribed to You...🥰
The video was pretty groundbreaking in 1980! 😎
Great tune! Written by Michael and Jackie Jackson!
This is the song Jesus Christ will come back to. LOL ESP when the horns sound.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
You might have heard this at a sporting event!
The greatest artist of all time rest in peace michael we will never Forget you ❤️
Believe it or not this was played and often in the Disco and the floor was packed with dancers. I fell in love with this song on the disco floor! Met my husband at that disco too! It was a riot I wish you all could experience, truly it was a total riot!
I always loved this video as a kid but it took me to be grown too understand the message!!
Thank you, Jayy! Triumph is such a perfect album. I hope you listen to it at some point and be sure to look up the lyrics to this song, it enhances everything about the video. ❤️
Since the sounds effects were throughout the video, I am certain that they were intentional. Without them, the video would have lacked that magical, god-like quality that the Jacksons portrayed.
I remember when this video came out (loooong time ago), and I remember back then thinking that the effects were drowning out the lyrics.
Exactly!👍🏾😊
@@leodejongful ummm no. That was intentional. It grabs you. Its perfection done on purpose. They knew what they were doing and why.
I’m in tears right now!!
Exit Jermaine, enter Randy.
I think queen were one of the first bands to have a sort of music video for bohemian Bohemian Rhapsody...but I think you have to credit this video for the way future music videos were made and of course michael Jackson's thriller 3 years after they really paved the way for the video generation x 😊
Best video ever made. And the Triumph tour was the best concert tour of all times, in my opinion.
Love this song!! Good job!
Sadly, this was the beggining of the end of the Super 70s where we had witnessed the comming together of Tthe races in the Super 70s!... only to see it collapse.
Your reaction is exactly what everyone should feel when watching this video.
Do The Jackson's Heartbreak Hotel!!
From the same album.
Sound effects were loud intentionally for the video. It gave it a more movie effect. It makes the video version more movie like and better. Trust they knew what they were doing on purpose. This is a masterpiece.
And this was BEFORE MTV. Go figure....
The greatest of all time
Notice the sound effects are louder during Randy’s singing. I always suspected it was a cover up for his singing, which wasn’t Jackson level lol
Damn fine song..and I'm a rock guy..
😎😎
That was the name of the album Triumph
This video is better than all of the HBO intros.
Great inspiring song and amazing Clip
The blood inside of me is inside of you!!❤️❤️
Indeed, we are all the same.
I wish everyone would listen to this song. I have it on my playlist.
I love your energy I'm subscribed
We need to listen to this today 2/27/2022
The video speaks for itself
It’s a masterpiece
Back when they made good music. Michael Jackson's reputation may have been a little tarnished and he did become the butt of jokes towards the end of his life but make no mistake, he made some GREAT music as did the Jacksons(formerly Jackson 5).
This video was considered Biblical in its presentation
I saw the Jacksons a couple of years ago on my birthday, I got to go backstage and meet them, got pics with them, they were gents
I agree the sound effects are a little over powering, I think you need to hear the song without the effects
A lot of space influence in the music during that time due to the history of the time. Dreams of a new age. Written by Michael himself!!!
Lyrics
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
If you look around
The whole world's coming together now, baby
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
Feel it in the air, the wind is taking it everywhere, yeah
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
All the colors of the world should be that
Lovin' each other wholeheartedly
Yes, it's all right
Take my message to your brother and tell him twice
Spread the word and try to teach the man
Who's hating his brother, when hate won't do
'Cause we're all the same, yes, the blood inside me is inside you
Now tell me
Can you feel it, (tell me can you feel it) can you feel it, can you feel it
(Can you see what's going down? Can you feel it in your bones?)
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you…

They were very popular
Very good
I actually like all the extra sound effects for this video. It added to the cinematography. And to me it didn't take away from the music at all.
Interesting fact Robert Abel and Associates, the special effects house, were the original effects company hired to produce the effects on Star Trek The Motion Picuture. But they were fired after a year, they had not made one usable effect!
Still i love This Video and i love the Sound effects in it
These sound effects are only in the video not the actual song.
The Jacksons Reunion Medley 2001.
Final performance altogether.
I promise not a disappointment
Totally agree. The sound effects guy got a little too crazy.
MJ had such a great voice
the water cascading at the beginning represents the firmament....
ICON!
The sound effects are for the music video and are not like that on the album
The sound effects are loud because the intention was to make a "short film", not a music video. This was MJ's first short film and this same concept would be applied in Thriller and other future videos.
The Jackson 5 are portraying the Annunaki
Did you know that the can you feel it “video” isn’t a video, but the intro for the triumph tour? They would play it and after it was over the Jacksons would come out on stage and start rocking.
What is the definition of a "video"? A "video" is not a video..... Oh?
For that time it was something amazing ( the video ) you have to know that this was one of the videos of Jackons 5 it was 70 s i quees ,or 80 s and for those years was something truley amazing. It my be I.T the movie? I know that he was rewarded for I.T....yes I.T i have to look on google🥰
Did you know, that this is the very first music video ever. Look it up.
And also The Jackson Family
"2300 Jackson Street"
Yes the C G I on the video was sh-ty this was 1980 but the song and message was on point
The Tamperer sent me here ;)
Every time I watch this video, the water scene makes me so thirsty.
please react to jacksons 5 what goes around
Awesome! 💓 It. Plz. check out MJ heartbreak hotel live in Yokohama 1987. 🔥
God let Mike peek behind the curtain.
You’re right, the sound effects were too loud. I’ve never seen this version before. You should try listening to the words of the song without the sound effects. It has a very good message. Randy’s on lead.
Destiny live
DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT THAT VIDEO REPRESENTS? IT REPRESENTS THE 144.000 COMING TO UNITE THE WORLD AGAINST PEDOPHILES PREDATORS DRUG DEALERS, NOTICE THE PEOPLE ARE PRAYING AT ECLIPSE, PRAY ON APRIL 8TH 2024
We are coming
I agree with your comments about the sound effects. There's another version without the sound effects, but it's not as good as the original. It doesn't ha ve the Keith David narration or the visual story of the birth of the new 🌎.
If you got a chance! Can you do a reaction on the Jacksons "Heartbreak Hotel"
Very stylised.
The sound effects are just in the video. They are very distracting and not in the original recording.
Video release 1981..
I do agree that the sound effects were a bit too loud and drowned out the singing and music, but still a great song and great video. Get a little misty eyed when all the people of different races join hands.
Michael was a solo act at this time but the brothers needed a hit and dad Joe put pressure on Michael to perform with them again. Need to hear it without the video sound effects.
The name of the cartoon is Animalympics
Hidden messages in the video
Corrección, Ken Nordine did the narration on the Jackson 5 can you feel it video, not Keith David.
yes, the excessive sound effects always ruined the video for me and I grew up with it.
I blame my Gen which was all Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers.
Great song and good vid but yeah,th e damn volume on those effects is way too much.
The track is amazing without the video nonsense
wake up, not good.
I've never seen this video. It must have looked spectacular at the time, but not so much now. I couldn't agree more about the sound effects, they're *HORRIBLE* and ruin the record, which is beautiful and driving. I actually *HATE* what the video makers have done here.
