Hi, I booked it whilst in Mauritius, but I was in Mauritius for 5 months. The seaplane experience is weather dependent, and January is in raining season, so there may be a few days when it's not possible to do the experience due to low clouds or rain. It's still possible to do in January as i did it in January 2022. I would WhatsApp Lagoon flight and arrange it near the start of your trip just in case they need to rearrange. How long are you going for and in what area are you planning on staying in?
@Julie Galea OK, so you won't be too far away from La Prairie Beach. 👍🏾 I paid 120 Euros when I did this, but I just checked Lagoon Flights' website, and it looks like the price has gone up since last year. As the flight is pretty short, I would start the day with this and combine this with some other activities in the south, such as Rum tasting at Rhumerie de Chamarel, or visit La Vallée Des Couleurs Nature Park (you could easily spend the whole day here), or if you are into golf, the Heritage Golf Club is pretty close to Prairie Beach. You can either rent a car or get a taxi driver to drive you. You may be able to arrange a driver with the Yugo app, which allows you to prebook taxi journeys. Let me know if you have any other questions. 😊
Omg hello! This is my second time in Mauritius I can’t remember anything bc last time I was 5 now I am 8 and I’m in Mauritius right at this second but not it’s in July 2022 and I’m here! So my parents said we want to do under sea walking there just a question but is it scary? Like is the top part ruff or so (just asking bc I’ve never done is before and is the water ski scary? Bc I’ve never done these things before pls send a reply!
You can try it, if you don't like it, you can always stop. Let the guide know and they will help you out of the sea. Sometimes I get scared before I do things I've never tried before, and then I find out that they are not as scary as thought they would be after trying them. I hope you are enjoying your trip and if you try it, let me know how you found it. :)

Hi... sorry for the delayed response. I didn't find the under water sea walk scary, but there was someone who tried to go after me who found it scary and wasn't able to do it. If you like being in the sea and swimming then you'll be ok, but if you get a bit nervous in the sea, don't like enclosed spaces or loud noises then it might be a bit overwhelming.
