    What a blessing Eddie Woo is. I've been scratching my head, reading the textbook and couldn't clearly comprehend LCGs. Thank you, brother!

    This was a very good explanation.
    The C++ linear congruential engine for generating random numbers uses a multiplier of 16807 or 48271 and a modulus of 2^32/2-1 and now I'm wondering how the graph looks like for these values.

    HOW IMPRESSIVE HE IS. THE FIRST TIME I WATCHED HIS CHANNEL AND HIS TEACHING STYLE IS SO COOL.
    I LEARNED FROM HIM HOW TO GIVE PRESENTATIONS IN SEMINARS ALSO.

    Lmao waht an enthusiastic class! So responsive to the prof! Most of my lectures students are so dull and unresponsive, they give just blank faces even if the prof asks a question or an opinion.

    Nice video, quite frankly and I m confess, you made this topic appear to be really easy... could you please recommend a textbook for further reading...wouldn't mind if you send it to me via email...if you prefer. Waiting to hear from you.

    This is not randomness. Every outcome can be predicted. But, then again, does the true randomness even exist?

    • @nIrUbU01
      @nIrUbU01 4 роки тому +2

      Well no shit, its called pseudo-randomness for a reason. It looks random, but actually isnt. It's a way for the computer to simulate randomness. And yes, there is true randomness. At least from a human perspective of not being able to predict it. In a more philosophical sense maybe there is no randomness. But it's just like the question whether free will exists: Who cares? The answer to that question is completely inconsequential.

    Is this fking high school? Why is the class so goddamn loud? WAY WAY louder than any college class Ive ever sat in. And you KNOW based on the careful placement of microphones, intended to pick up the lecturer and not the classroom, that the class is tenfold louder than what it sounds like in the video.

  • @nIrUbU01
    @nIrUbU01 4 роки тому +1

    This is strange. Youre teaching an advanced topic of CS, but from your behaviour and the behaviour of the class it seems like youre doing it in a special ed class or sth like high school.
