I am from the Chitpavan Brahmin community. After Gandhi was killed, our homes were burned and were forcefully made to shift to Pune. That's why Pune has so many Brahmins today. My Grandfathers were lucky enough that they were not killed, but many of Brahmins were killed systematically.
And it's all buried in history

British PM Clement Attlee said in one of his interviews that The British left India because of the Indian National Army created by Subhash Chandra Bose and he also said that Mohandas Gandhi's contribution towards the British making the decision to leave India was NEGLIGIBLE.
Nope although Netaji contribution was great but he also knew that most probably his revolution won't work as yo be honest expelling British was combined effort of both gandhi and netaji . It was the changing world policies and most importantly usa bringing new world order and Indian navy and indian army standing up were the main factor and yes netaji had a great role but we shouldn't give all credit to Gandhi Or netaji. And both of them shouldn't be our father of the nation and netaji ideology wasn't same on which modern india was based and there many more things
