Hey all! Thanks again for all the support, just wanted to share some links to the artbooks I mentioned in the video as I get LOTS of questions about them. And they're affiliate links so hoping on and making a purchase shoots a kickback to us here without costing you anything! I think that orc kit was actually directly inspired by some of the original Lord of the Rings illustrations, so they work really well. The bodies and arms can be pretty goofy but as you found out the bits work well when combined with other kits.
Just used this video as a source of inspiration to kit bash Mordor orcs, Oathmark goblins, morannon orcs, and warlord games orcs plus the bits box from various mid evil projects. Turned out great, thank you for the inspiration!
Awesome video! It's great to see someone creating variety to LOTR SBG through conversions, and these conversions are really pushing the envelope! Love it!!
Lol! New i guess :P and thanks a ton man! I'm actually just finishing up my next project where i used one of your vids for reference! So that should... Hopefully be up soon!
Oh man... I primed like 30 something moria gobbos a couple weeks ago (when battle streams did the moria episode) but got distracted... So many projects :P
@@AndurzTalksHobbies For sure! And I must say that your videos really opened up my eyes to what's possible with conversions in the middle early game. Already orderd a number of the books you mentioned along with a frankly embarrassing number of historical figures and am hoping to mix for LotR content into my channel soon. No I just need to decided if I want to start with an army from Arnor, or Umbar first...
@@AmnioticlyTanked well I do love arnor, but there's alot of potential with an umbar force. And yah, I feel like people can get really stuck into there being a "correct" way for middle earth stuff to look, be it the movie aethetics or just an aggressively literal interpretation of the books themselves. But one of my favorite things about tolkien's work that I think gets missed is how he balances giving lots of detail in places, while keeping alot of other stuff really vague, as it leaves so much room for creativity!
Mmmmm yeah I jut watched the wraith video after and definitely see it. Agandaûr vibes for sure. I’ve always loved the map design in that game too, an ettenmoor table would be so cool to do
Fantastic the shaman looks ace. I always imagined the Angmar orcs as more feral and tribal than the orcs of Mordor with chieftains and shamans rather than captains, equipped with fur cloaks and skins for the cold mountains and more plundered weapons.
Thanks! And yah i really tried yo give them their own style/feel. Going to be doing another batch in a bit that will really be leaning into the ferral style, and who may or may not have furry friends!

Yeah these orcs are fiiiire bro!!! Love your work.

That's awesome! Kitbashes orcs always look the best as there's no single kit I've found yet that really hits the mark for me
Awesome video! It's great to see someone creating variety to LOTR SBG through conversions, and these conversions are really pushing the envelope! Love it!!
Thanks! I really love making my models and armies unique and orcs are a great thing to do that with :P
Really love the minis you've made here. Looking forward to the next episode :)
Thank! And im working on it. These guys are taking longer to paint then I thought :P
Fantastic end result and very well presented. Looking forward to seeing your channel grow! Keep up the great work.
Thanks man! Working on the next video now so hopefully I can keep up the momentum :P
That looks amazing! Love the use of static grass on the models and those Nazgul look awesome! Get them painted, quick!
Thanks! And will do!
Have some other projects i want to do to so trying to prioritize :P
Dude they came out fantastic. i hope you painted them..
Okay who the fuck are you and how don't I know about this amazing channel?! Awesome video mate
Lol! New i guess :P and thanks a ton man!

@@AndurzTalksHobbies Hell yeah mate can't wait to seeeee!! I'm doing a Moria army vlog at the moment so much fun :D
Oh man... I primed like 30 something moria gobbos a couple weeks ago (when battle streams did the moria episode) but got distracted... So many projects :P
Besides the incredible conversions, I love that you too flip through books by starting at the back and going towards the front!
Thanks! And when you're mainly looking at the pretty pictures the order doesn't matter :P

Very nice the sound is good the presentation is superb.
Thanks man! Im really enjoying all the editing and stuff that goes into these... But editing/recording sound is just such a pain :P
An awesome source of inspiration for this would be the War in the North game! It’s good fun and has heaps of orc ideas
Oh don't you worry. I've done a couple play throughs of that game and the influence us definitely there. Especially in my wraiths
Mmmmm yeah I jut watched the wraith video after and definitely see it. Agandaûr vibes for sure. I’ve always loved the map design in that game too, an ettenmoor table would be so cool to do
Great ideas mate! I love how detailed the video was. Keep up the good work :D
Thanks a ton! Went for a bit of a different style on this one so that means a lot!
Looking rather interesting….
May sound redundant but could you retell what kits you used for those kitbashes / conversions?

Those orcs are cool , I too made an orc kitbash, although your orcs are much nicer, I used Angus McBride's art for my inspiration.
Thanks! And oh yah, both the warlord and oathmark orcs/goblins have some serious McBride energy
Incredible
Thanks man!
These orcs are incredible, also what kits did you use for the nazgul at the end?
Same mix of kits honestly, with some army of the dead and morgul knights thrown in. Will have a video all bout them... Eventually... :P
Good video!
Thanks!
great stuff !
Thanks!
Lovely work. Especially the last-minute Nazgul.
Also, are you actually a hobbit in disguise or is your cat just huge?
Where are those large spear heads from, the tall polearm head ones to be exact?x
Believe their either old empire or bretonian bits from gw, just got a couple sprue of them in a lot a while ago but it was weapons only, no bodies
@@AndurzTalksHobbies thank you x
Huzzah!
Astonishing
Thanks a ton!
Awesome project. Should check out LOTR Online game. Game has a massive Angmar region.
OOh yah? think I briefly tried that game out years ago but didn't really get into it. not big into MMO's but love some good tolkien world building!
