Melody is definitely the brains in this power duo, Martel was just an accessory.
I never comment on this show but knowing the future episodes, I really hope Martel sits down and watches this episode over and over on his description of how powerful and entitled he felt justifying his cheating ways...now he is so broke and no Lamborghini to drive in. Melody made you and nobody buys into the story that you pushed or motivated her to success.
I was thinking the same and like he still doesn't get it.Put a pig in a suit it's still a pig.
I can tell Mel is checked out. The Holts have such wonderful kids. But I admire her strength, self-awareness, and conviction of knowing that ENOUGH is ENOUGH of when to walk away.

As she should, I’m glad they were able to keep it cordial in front of the children. I don’t think I could!
Fast forward to 2023, Mel today went from Amazing to Ultra Amazing! She's not looking backwards looking full straight ahead moving up, up, up broke the glass ceiling of success
Yeah, but I bet she wish she would’ve kept her family intact. Now she has to see her children every other week. Martell only regrets it bc he misses Mel’s money.
@chrisc1896 Well, no one goes into marriage building a family to break up their household. I believe that she truly gave it her best shot at keeping it together by forgiving him and making ago of it having another child with him. Mel clearly stated that "I'm not that woman".....meaning she cannot remain in an active marriage of infidelity. Not even a "respectful" cheating situation. I give her so many 💎 diamonds and flowers 💐 for self-preservation of her personal dignity, safety, and peace. No one should be expected to live under those conditions in a marriage. It is not sustainable. Not to mention, so many boundaries of abuses were crossed.
The regret is that she was unnecessarily put in a situation whereby she had no other option but to go. Let's just be happy for her in her present circumstances. She's a lovely person inside and out. Mel is a wonderful mother, and she gives back to her community. Even those who oppose her are benefiting from this reality show. Free space to promote and advertise their professions , businesses, life skills, plus get paid to be on the show. Mel is happy in her space.

I can’t imagine her disappointment in losing her husband ( that she loved and cared for) before the world to witness. We also have to remember that they share four “ adorable babies “ which makes it even more difficult to dissolve the union. I believe she truly struggled with this but had to make a decision to leave or she would have been forced to remain in a “ toxic marriage “ Martel thought she’d “ never leave him” with four children and a lucrative business 😢I think he’s truly missing the point, you can’t cheat and believe that it’s okay 😢 I think he will always regret his actions, I’m praying for them all particularly those babies ( I’m a grandma 👵🏽) my heart goes out to them ( 🙏🏽Van) to you

decided to binge all the seasons and man it's hard watching this again and seeing how Martell broke his family apart for some nights of passion when he had a beautiful, strong, successful wife who gave him 4 beautiful kids and a beautiful home I just know he regrets it every single day 😩
