Mine 1996 volvo 940 the compressor wont stop until air (cold ac) in car become slow. Its too cold. Other than evaporator problem, are there any suggestion you can tell? Thanks.
I have a new compressor, receiver/driver, expansion valve & the clutch is always engaged. Air is cold inside, but the clutch doesn't cycle on & off. What could it be ? Suggestions ? ideas ?
Thanks for the reply and I did watch the video, but unfortunately wasn't able to understand most of what you're saying due to the your accent. Sorry no offense, I'm just trying to figure this out.
Mine stays engaged because there's a break in the ground wire going to the low pressure switch . I connected a wire to the ground and connected it to the metal frame and now it's on and getting cold but the compressor never cycles.
maybe there is hot outside and compressor need to work hard? Try to increase your rpm to 1,5k and then watch clutch if stil permanently engaged use gauges, check LP sensor, temperature of pipes...
Nice, simple explanation. Thank you 🇦🇺

So it’s the evaporator coil? Mine turns on and off during night at 1000 rpm but stays on all day and feels warm
Yes it's the tire
