- This gameplay tutorial for Mechwarrior Online shows you how to utilize your Mech to it's best extend. I'll give you a rundown of the build and what it is made for and show you the actual combat role in two games on the battlefield.

I am using Haven Kendrick's Soundpack! Download it here: / haven_kendrick . To install, simply locate your Mechwarrior Online installation folder, open "Game" and you will see lots of .pak files. Drop the sound mod file into that folder with the other .pak files, restart the client, and you are good to go!

I've run this loadout on a Mad Cat, and dubbed the build "Puke Kitty" -- because it just vomits damage at things.
Me too, also with a Light TAG on torso to help targetting.
You can run this on the MAD-IIC-D with ECM as well!

Love me a game with the Scorch :) I run the classic double LB20 and quad SRM6s, but this build also looks amazing to play
This build is great! Although you can do the same in the Highlander IIc for space bucks, not real money. It also has survivability quirks.
Highlander IIC is also a bit taller and less easy to twist damage away. Though, I personally prefer more upright mechs anyways
@@yichlyichl4204 oh yeah it's a more... 'awkward' shape but it's very good at soaking damage into the arms (they've got armour quirks) in the Marauder the first thing to pop will be a side torso.
Also on the MAD-IIC-D, with ECM!
Hah! I was in this match. Awesome to play with the 'dul, not so awesome that I was up at 5am that morning to be lucky enough to do it.
Been having a heck of a time trying to get a useful setup of the marauder in the Battletech campaign, so it's cool to see one actually kicking butt

Try the Scorch with ATM24 and LB40-X ;) i use the double Ultra 10 double ATM12 and ECM on the Mad-IIC-D
I didn't like the UAC jams so i swapped them out for LBX 10's, take all the velocity nodes too. I also like the nickname, it fits you :)
I have to try this. Only used the LBX 20 ASRM6 loadout yet
I have this build on my scorch too :) and love it
Broiler can do dual ATM12s with dual UAC20s, no ghost heat.
My standard loadout is 2 Gauss, 4 SRM6, and 2 er meds. Sometimes I do UAC20s instead, and sometimes those UAC20s come with LRMS, for versatility.

I do the same thing with my Highlander 2c build. I try to sneak a few er med lasers in to though. lol

I run my Scorch with ATM27 and twin LB10s.
I know what the cockpit kill notifiers are, but it still reminds me of Team Rocket.

How do you get the Scorch? It doesn't appear under Marauder in Battlemechs
You got to the top of tier 1 really fast! I think I represent the average casual player. I put in 1 to 2 hours a day and am still smack in the middle of tier 3. Love your work Bara
These games were June 26th. So pre reset. The date is on the top of the Score page for the entire teams.

And my lack of observation explains why I'm an average player! Ah well, I enjoy being a meat shield anyway
After 1134 damage done you still have 177 and 233 ammo left, you definitely can remove some ammo and add HS's. And you should.

IIRC, my Scorch is running 2xUAC10, 2xLPL, and 4xSRM4. It's hot as hell, but dear gods does it fuck people up.

It's so frustrating you can make a build like this and get thousands of points but have an equally important harrassing/distracting light mech and only get a couple of hundred points.

At least spectator mode doesn’t let you see the cache of AC20 ammo I had hidden away in the legs, “just-in-case.” (Yes, I added C.A.S.E. too, because who wouldn’t?!)
