Volkspolizei means German police or German military police in German.
volkspolizei means " the peoples police". In reality it was the arm of STASI!!
A panzer means rocket launcher in German, the only rocket launchers in Germany are the Panzerfaust III (PzF 3) or the 5 ammo shooting Panzershcerk.
Panzer is armoured; the tune here, Panzerfaehrer, translates as Tankman. It is a well-known Russian tune, being played under its German equivalent name.
Panzerfaust was an anti-tank weapon, and translates as Armoured Fist, or, Fist against Armour.
Well idk where you learned german but for a normal german "Panzer" means "Tank" and "Rocket launcher" means "Raketenwerfer". The Panzer in Panzerschreck stands for the things the weapon does: scaring tanks

I am really astonished! Since my childhood, I have known the "Marsch der Panzerfahrer" (21:41) as one of the marches the Soviets used for their military parades. One more thing: Preobrazhenski Regiment (53:15) was a military unit of the demned Russuian Empire. I wonder whether this march has anything to do with Germany? This march was widely used by the Soviets too and now it is used by fuking Putin's Moskovia.
That March( Preobrazhenski March) was used by American and British Troops during the American Revolution-it is that old! ; Was also in the German Imperial March list...remember there was a time that Germany, Austria and Russia were allies (DreiKaiserBund!!). Screw the Soviets and The National Socialists....Screw all Socialists!!
The "marsch der panzerfahrer" is actually the soviet march "Марш Танкистов" that was composed by the Soviet Ukrainian Senior Director of the Central Military Band of the People's Commissariat of National Defense of the USSR Major General Semyon Alexanderovich Tchernetsky in 1943.
German and russian marches are quite simular, because the two nations have a long history of common military music traditions. Furthermore this audio is by the NVA (National peoples army of the GDR), so it is not really suprising, that the former east german army was using russian military songs.
