I would love to see this design be tweaked slightly to be vertically tileable as this could allow for someone to make the design and then if need be later expand it which isn't as easy for other furnace arrays

This is so unnecessarily complicated. You can make an auto smelter that's twice as fast in a smaller footprint using only hoppers and chests.

Its not supposed to be efficient. The purpose is to have 3 chest conveniently right next to each other, and have it look somewhat good gut you only see chest and ko hoppers/furnaces

@@BritishTrainspotting chest and hopper feeding into the top of the furnace for unsmelted items. Chest and hopper feeding into the side for fuel, and hopper out of the bottom of the furnace feeding into a chest for the output. Using double chests to split outputs and two furnaces you can make it fit in a 2x2x4 area.
