So cute! This tutorial was really great. I'm a self taught knitting and crochet pattern reader, and I do have a sewing machine I'd like to get more comfortable using, but for some reason I've always been a bit intimidated by sewing patterns. This eased my fear a bit. Thanks!

I'm having the toughest time figuring out how your placing the tie ends to the waist band. I'm making the apron and I'm stumped at this point. I'm no pro at sewing so this is kind of new to me. I'm just learning as I go. Lol!
Thank You so so much. I have been sewing for 42 years. I have made dresses, tailored waistcoats and suits etc etc. But this had me beaten. The diagram does not match the instructions or your video! I was stumped! Maybe I am getting too old! You saved me. Brilliant x
Hello, thanks for sharing the "how to" on this particular pattern. I had the trim finished and all the layers of the bottom sewn, then I got stuck so thanks for sharing!!! Going to finish it now.....I had to see how you did the ties....but you say in the video place the tie end to the wrong side of the waistband.....but in the video it looks like it's on the right side of the waistband. So that's the only thing I was confused about. Thanks again!

Why have it gathered where the tie end goes into the apron?
It just makes it more difficult.
Sewing the apron to the waistband -- I wish you had shown that in detail -- my brain is not understanding how you pin that together at all!
