So I don’t see any evidence of holes for a hood hinge. I do see the two plates on your firewall. I see the hood release mechanism in the nose piece. I’m curious how do you hold your hood in place on the firewall?
I was thinking the 2 metal plates on the bulkhead line up with 2 magnetic plates on the hood,and along with the front catch and the cruising nature of the build ,keep the hood on and a neat clean build?
The car is the most beautiful ‘40 Willy’s I have ever seen. Love that you chose the ‘40 nose piece rather than the ‘41. Are the front wheels ET Gasser 15x4.5? Backspace? Rear wheels... are they ET torque thrust? 15x14? Backspace? Tires?size? Great stance. Air or coil overs?
BBG much appreciated. Your correct the front are 15x4.5 no choice in b/s, standard with Michelin xzx 165 SR 15 from coker tire. The rear are ET Classic 5 15x14 with 4.5 backspace. Tires are M/T sportsman pro 31x18.5. All coil overs around.

Needs a Chrysler Hemi and a straight axle set up, like mine. That’s right I said it.
