We discovered the shop a few months ago by chance as we were just going to watch some planes. (Somehow my son walked away with an FTX Tracer too. lol!) The shop is awesome and the cafe is great too. Seeing them going all out opening a track is great too! I wish the owners all the best and will definitely be back to by toys i don't need very soon.
Great track been today for the first time with the children. we had a fantastic time we were there. The best part of the day we had food and drinks. The staff was fantastic, especially with the new kids that have never raced their cars on a track before. The veterans, lol, were all so fantastic they helped us out and gave brilliant advice. I would recommend anyone to come along and have some fun . As soon as we finished we needed to get some parts for our cars so we went to Rochester RC shop and got what we needed. Fantastic day, great staff kids loved it, and it was the best day . Thanks Rochester Rc
Great to get the younger generation back making/ creating / building again , I used to love going to the model shop in Maidstone back in 1994 , place was massive , I think the masses watching online now , more will want to race track etc keep it going 😊
Will is definitely one of the good guys. To see where they were last year in the old place, which was tiny, to the new bright shop is amazing. Im lucky to be able to pop in while im at work, and use them as much as i can. His team are great, really knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Some shops need to take note on how to do things the right way. 👍🏻
Will is a great guy and to have the vision for something like this is awe-inspiring. It proves your dreams and plans can come to fruition with lots and lots of hard work. Everyone in RC should put the work in to support this venture, I certainly will be at some point this year. Better also say well done Gav for the video
This is great to see, with the sad news of tracks being forced to close. Having it linked to a shop is great as at events you have spares on hand. MB models run like this and events there run great. Need tyres, order online and pick up right there. And who dont like cake. Good luck Rochester RC. Hopefully i can visit soon.
Wow its great to see this. I never realised when I place my orders online and on the phone it looked like this. Also great to hear from the owner and makes you want to get behind the team more, they seem great 👍 If I didn't live so far away (Newcastle) i would be joining in the fun at the raceway too
That's a lovely shop! What a beautiful selection of RC cars. I did not expect to see The Mammoth Dump Truck on the shelf. I have the Mini 4WD version and hope to own the RC someday. Thank you for the coverage of the shop and track.
Cool place. I drove up there from Hastings when I was visiting my sister. I collected a Yeah Racing upgrade kit for my Tamiya CC-01 chassis. Had coffee and cake, browsed the shop, collected my purchase and toddled off. I wish the track had been there then as I would certainly have had a go!
I got a RTR Fazer with the '06 Subaru body and it was tons of fun. I upgraded some bits and they released the rally conversion so I ordered a chassis and I have tarmac and dirt Rally cars. I'm super chuffed now. 👍🏻 Nice digs there...
Great to see hope it does really well for them 👍 Exactly what the rc hobby needs a friendly track that open for people to use with almost any car , lots want to run on a track without the pressure of racing or being put off by elitism and clickiness of clubs untill they find their feet . Open every day for practice ha great , I'm sure this will help more interest in the hobby
I have Two friends that work there and it's just up the road from me relatively speaking. I see the original shop and this has gone strength to strength. Shame my passion has died off atm as into other things but what would really be great is a large outdoor dirt track. 🙂
11 mins up the road from Aylesford im not far away...neither is tenth technology racing they used to based up here in the 90s..i will be going to have look soon
Not massively far from me , a couple of hrs but would love something nearer, for a quick bit of evening action. Hope this is a business model that gets duplicated all over the country.
Don’t forget gluten free food in the cafe my son is gluten intolerant and it’s a nightmare a times when we go out cos of the lack of gluten free food and the taste is usually 50/50 good and 🤮 🤣
Congratulations nice to see new businesses opening up. It would have been nice if you opened up in my neck of the woods you didn’t have to change countries 😂 JK.
You’d have thought they have more serious things to take care of….always complaining they are rushed off their feet, yet 9/10 times I see a squad car it’s pootling about the street.
This country needs more men like the owner of Rochester RC. What an excellent bloke.
100% agree. Everyone that works are RochesterRC is working hard to make this a success as this isn't not the end of the master plan.
@@RCKickschannel Great work and hopefully others will follow this example. Just wish it was closer to me.

It's nice to see tracks being built, not taken down. Great win for the RC community.

This is so awesome! It's set up like a self-sustaining community gathering space. Clearly a passion project. So cool!
Genius business model. I like that a lot.

Great shop to go to , nice people there and very helpful. If im back in the UK i will definitely pop back around. Nice vid Gavin
Thank you for the vid, I live in Kent and happy a indoor track has opened. Really want to see more of this happen for the RC hobby in the UK
West Kent rc club race indoor every other sunday
Looking forward to visit the track, congratulations and sounds like a nice guy!
This is great for the RC hobby in the uk well done.

This is gonna be awesome! Just wished I liked like closer than 250+ miles away 😢 maybe will plan a weekend visit in the near future! 👍
Because, " If you build it. They will come."

Good on him, a good facility made available for the good of the hobby.

Wow! I wish we had a shop like this near me. I’d be there everyday. Great vid Gav. Now I need to book a flight to the UK to go shopping lol😂.
Awesome video this type of content is great nice to see you out and about
Wow looks awesome 😊 ❤ Pete
This is so cool 😊 would love to visit one day both the shop and the track ❤️
I have often thought of doing this but it doesnt make financial sense sadly. It should work for these guys as they have the shop to back it up!
Ooooh....that Pitts Special's a bit special. 🤩👍
An incredibly cool initiative!
LOVE LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!
What a nice fella
Fantastic Video Gavin, well done, very friendly guy from that Rochester RC Raceway, it will be a succes.
Love the mx bike, everthing would be great lol. Used to have a hornet Rc.
We need an RC track in Tenterden down road from Headcorn. I’m sure I know enough people that would be interested 😊
Great video.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Now that’s a rc shop.
Yep, the shop is lovely. Unfortunately it’s a bit far for me to visit randomly but if you are close, well worth a visit
@@RCKickschannel I’d love to but I’m in Canada I could only dream of a place like that.
Looking forward to using the track soon
Awesome
Brings back memories of Maritime raceway which wasn't far away. Permanent venues are great. Good luck with it
Nice shop and track for sure 🤩
Good luck to them, I hope it does well and ppl appreciate it! Got nothing like that over here where I live.
Good luck to them
this is really cool. I hope it is a big success. Once again, like it when you interview people in the scene.
I could see myself spending all my spare time in this place
Use the cafe guys, will literally be its bread and butter
Lovely intro 👍🏼
Great to see hope it does really well for them 👍

Clubs like west Kent welcome new people all the time and I have never found it cliquey. There are all abilities there
I have Two friends that work there and it's just up the road from me relatively speaking. I see the original shop and this has gone strength to strength. Shame my passion has died off atm as into other things but what would really be great is a large outdoor dirt track. 🙂
we need more rich rc enthusiasts 👍🤣🇬🇧
Nice one
I’ve done the brushless mini z inferno…..lovely bit of kit out the box
Would love to see an outdoor place to run nitro on road cars
You should get that mini z buggy I’ve bought mine and it’s a fun one to run around the house 3:35-3:40
Needed a septic! You should see their rc flying clubs! Paved runways, covered/shaded pit areas, with power...... 😊
great to see a proper shop rather than a mail order buy online or know before you go sales desk
Need a rc shop in Eastbourne in East Sussex.
Zen racing based out that way supplies rc
Can someone do this in Yorkshire please?
I see you with the record skip.. knew you were watching! 👀😁✌️
I live in Rochester and never knew.😮
Jump in the car and go say hi. Super friendly bunch and say hello from me. I’ll be back down in a few months 👍🏻
Hopefully it works and others follow suit. It’s kind of the American way of doing a race track. Shop, cafe and track all in one.
11 mins up the road from Aylesford im not far away...neither is tenth technology racing they used to based up here in the 90s..i will be going to have look soon
Great stuff, I don't understand the thumbnail picture, where is that building?
I wouldn't take UA-cam thumbnails too literally, it's about catching your eye.
So, let me get this right. Rochester RC are based on an airfield? Errr, have they considered speed run events....
Grass runway
@@RCKickschannel Ooops... 😂
4X4 speed runs 🦾🦾
Not massively far from me , a couple of hrs but would love something nearer, for a quick bit of evening action. Hope this is a business model that gets duplicated all over the country.
It would be good if they had the store and track in the same location like some of the USA stores
I need to get to that place, deep pockets required lol
Awsome
So for members it'll cost 140 Poundages a week or 7280 poundages a year to have daily access
Isn’t it £80 a month to go every day 10:00-22:00 apart from Sunday?
We need this here in the USA
I would like to bring RCKicks to the US at some point
@@RCKickschannel yes, if you come to Los Angeles i would be your number 1 supporter🤞🤞👍
Being rich also helps 🤑🤑
Got to move to the UK
If you like high tax, rain and small houses it's a win.
@@RCKickschanneland don’t forget roads with huge flipping craters all over them!
OOH, a petrol truck full with nitro fuel ⛽️ 😍 😃 or at least we can dream about it 😉
Can I race mardaves there
Buggies but not bangers
Don’t forget gluten free food in the cafe my son is gluten intolerant and it’s a nightmare a times when we go out cos of the lack of gluten free food and the taste is usually 50/50 good and 🤮 🤣
great if you live in kent, gutted
I was number 7 to like this video 💯💪🙉🙈🙊👀🤷
Congratulations nice to see new businesses opening up. It would have been nice if you opened up in my neck of the woods you didn’t have to change countries 😂 JK.
Why cant this be Rochester NY? No good tracks here anymore
380 for a used Turb' Optima 😂
It’s that attitude is why we have no LHS left anymore. He is a business not a drop shipper.
Show your support and buy it then
@@deltauljCustoms I’m in the US I always pay more at my LHS
Too busy sorting this out and not the stock levels online. Let me order stuff that wasn’t in stock then 2 weeks to get the money back. Big fail.
still nowhere local to run nitro's without the police coming and seizing them though
Time to step away from the noise makers and get a lipo brushless setup ;)
You’d have thought they have more serious things to take care of….always complaining they are rushed off their feet, yet 9/10 times I see a squad car it’s pootling about the street.
Except you can go to Kent model rallycross club and run nitro on an outdoor track. I think Barham were looking at doing them too
