Yeah the Youme's are great, they won't damage the car but not having a cooling fan and being slightly overgeared was causing issues, kind of better than now though, its completely dead now 😭
I got a new motor but wasn't sure what pinion this particular motor could handle, I was advised by someone I thought was trustworthy to use a 39t but I was sceptical so I ran a 34t, even on a 34t it was pulling too many amps and it blew my max6 esc and possibly burnt out the motor itself.
@@rccrazy Oh snap what a bummer!!! Stuff happens but yeah its always a good idea to run couple minutes at a time and check the temps yourself. Something similer happened to me and 1/10 Onroad with gearing. I took someones word about gearing and not overheating and fried a motor.. Learned my lesson since then.. And on top of that some people's setups even though similer can give different results.. Luckly yours didnt catch fire. Thank the Rc Gods😀
I was checking the temperatures but it didn't seem that hot at the time, I didn't have my heat probe with me 😩 I make sure I take my heat probe and my voltage checker everywhere now just in case, but yeah it sucked big time, almost $600 gone within one battery! Get it going again soon. Oh, and yes similar set-ups can give completely different results even just comparing brands!
So the youme battery's were good to go it was just the ⚙ that's was causing the overheating issue?

@@rccrazy So did you kill the motor or the batterys?
