    Snowboarders are awesome, strong, fit people and most will help you out if you get in a bind, either on the mountain, on the side of the road, or just like this.
    People helping people is what makes the world work. Basic human decency, and doing what you can without putting yourself in harm's way, either physically, spiritually, or financially.
    You don't have to be a hero...just be a helper, when you can. Sometimes all you have to offer to someone is a kind word, and to let them know you see them and hear them.

    Things to do, stock up, get snow off your roofs before it gets too heavy and collapses, free walk ways and doors, windows, driveways if possible, cars. Don’t sit there and let it get out of control, keep that snow to a manageable level, meaning even while it’s snowing, start shoveling. Don’t get buried so deep that you end up suffocating. Don’t get buried so deep your house goes dark. No air, no light. That fireplace needs air, you need air.

      I am a disabled vet, 55 years old, spinal injuries. To save my home, and my only shelter, I start shoveling that stuff at 3 feet. My ass is out of shape but I would keep it to a manageable level. I grab some coffee, warm clothes, a shovel and keep watch on my house. Not saying it isn’t difficult but necessary. I don’t get into the trap of laziness or it’s just going to snow some more, why bother cleaning it up. If your too old to, do it, call the kids up, or grand kids up to help shovel, pay someone.

    • @jaeyang9540
      @jaeyang9540 Рік тому +2

      @@juliaweber212 That is why you don’t let that stuff get out of control. You go out there in the middle of the night if you have to and work on it. What’s cheaper,some discomfort, being cold or paying for damages cuz you waited too long. If you waited to the point you can’t get your door open and get out, you waited too long.
