YG has definitely chosen members to capture the South East Asian and Japanese territories. BP didn't have a Japanese member like Twice and Twice are so big in Japan. I mean, Ruka and Asa are super talented too, but there's definitely that angle.
I like how K-Pop groups these days are adding more international members in order to increase their fanbase outside of Korea. This may be similar to what JYP did with TWICE (Momo,Sana- Japan, Mina- Japan/US and Tzuyu-Taiwan). I really do hope YG has the full support for Babymonster on their journey so that they could also expand their fanbase internationally in the future.
