I checked them out in the store yesterday. And I like the bigger 46mm screen to watch and read, but I like the fit of the smaller 42mm when it comes to rolling down sleeves, jackets etc. so I think I’ll go for 42mm to make sure I wear it a lot comfortably. I also noticed that compared to the S9 the S10 is wider. Cuz it added 1mm on both sides. So keep in mind they look a lot more square and bigger now. The S9 41mm VS S10 42mm with bigger internal display is a stark difference. I would never get the S9 41mm or the SE now that I’ve seen the S10 42mm now. And the goal is to have a health and fitness tracker, some navigation and controls, not to consume media and articles on it that much.
I agree with you. I tried them both on (S9 & S10) and the thinner case makes a huge difference.. it just sits flatter..so much so I am considering the larger model, even though I felt that the S9 45mm was far too big. The smaller one is probably more comfortable though...its a hard choice!
I think 42mm is better for those that want to engage is fitness activities, while the 46mm is better for those who use the watch more as an extension of the phone. I personally went with the 42mm as I want the watch to blend into my wrist as much as possible. I primarily got my watch for fitness, a stopwatch, and sleep tracking, although I also use it for maps and music in my car.

I would advise to try on both sizes before purchase. This case the bigger is not better especially if you have small to average wrist. my dude, thank you for testing old 38mm straps with the new 42mm! I was confused - when purchasing bands on Apples website, it states that the old 44mm is compatible with the new 46mm but not for the smaller size watch.
It was actually not the old 38mm strap, at 5:30 it says 42mm, so probably it's a new 42mm band. I'm still not sure if old 38/40/41mm bands will fit well
Ah, damn you’re right. I guess I’ll just have to try it myself in the Apple Store. 😢 and yeah now I’m freeze framing, at exactly 5:20 you can see this (now you informed me 42mm) band protrudes like 1mm on an old 38mm case. I guess this won’t be a problem for all the PU sports bands, but I guess any old band with a flush fitting like the Velcro ones will have like … an underbite, if that makes sense?
@@bob_obba yeah I wish somebody made a video with different styles of old bands with the new 42mm. But I couldn't find anything like this yet, not even on Reddit

Of course the bigger ones will have a bigger battery, but it cancels out because of the larger pixels it needs to light up. That’s why on the Apple website they rate both with the same standby time
It's 1 mm larger horizontally and vertically. And 1 mm thinner. Take a look in person and you'll see it is quite different. In watches, 1mm makes a large difference.

Accidentally pressing the digital crown is why I flipped the orientation of the watch to have the crown on the other side (towards my elbow). I kept accidentally pressing it which was annoying.
It becomes very awkward to press the action button with the other hand, though.
Watching your video wearing my Apple Watch Series 10 46mm in Jet Black 😊
@@kato1557 hi, what about scratches? Ive to decide with silver
Same size, just rose gold version 😂
I’ve got the 46mm Rose Gold
@@LottiexLou hello I have 7 inch wrist will the 46 fit good
Those look nice amd for only around $400 not bad for apple
Seriously, I was shocked and happy that they increase the size but they kept the price.
my dude, thank you for testing old 38mm straps with the new 42mm!
Guys, you need to try the sizes in the store and be sure you will find a good size 👍🏻
l had try it, and I know the right size
I'm still waiting for someone to do a video on the jet black and if it scratches easy. I get it they are watches but I've had a midnight coloured one for 2 years and don't see any scratches on it. Hopefully someone can comment on this. Thanks
I’m going for the titanium Rose gold
I wish they came with a smaller size. I have the 40mm 6 now and I can’t even wear it while sleeping because it gets in my ways all the time.
You might still like this size because it's thinner.
i chose 42 mm
waiting for apple watch battery test!😀
Very good video!!! I have subscribed
Very good video!
Am I the only one who think the ultras screen still looks bigger than the 10’s 46mm?
It’s an illusion.
Any idea if the larger one had better battery.
@@MotoBites_with_Manas did you get the answer ?
@@PunaSaalyang nope.
Of course the bigger ones will have a bigger battery, but it cancels out because of the larger pixels it needs to light up. That’s why on the Apple website they rate both with the same standby time
@@arvs7356 in pixel watches, the larger one has considerably higher backup. So was hoping the story would translate here.
42mm 🎉
Finally.. 42 vs 46… thank you
And your wrist size ?
Thanks for including wrist size. Also prefer the smaller version with same size wrist, the bigger feels bulky.
i love how apple hypes everything up. It is point 2 mm bigger this year ! Look at it side by side you almost see no difference.
It's 1 mm larger horizontally and vertically. And 1 mm thinner. Take a look in person and you'll see it is quite different. In watches, 1mm makes a large difference.
Which app is that ?
42mm looks way better
only thing i wanted to know was if the battery was different/and if they had the same real world life and he didnt mention it lol
we need durability test

You forgot to show the battery difference
What is the best size for a 7 inch (18 cm) wrist? the 42mm or 46mm ?
I chooced 42mm with 18cm, i will see in 3-5 days if the size fits well
@@SyntecTMdid you like it bud
I traded in my 44mm Watch 5 to Verizon for a new 46 mm Watch 10. I have a small wrist but I didn’t see any reason for me to settle for the 42 mm. It’s funny because I loved the iPhone Mini when i had it and the iPad Mini is currently my favorite computer but apparently when it comes to watches I like the larger screen.
46mm the best!
@@ronpagala7496 for you😉 i prefer the 42
