if you really wanna know why ppl don't call the police over stalkers theres a fantastic explanation in one of Sweet Anita's vids where she talks about being stalked and i think like 3 others give or take. she does a full breakdown of it all. its actually terrifying how little help you can get. i dont normally mention other channels on someone's channel after someone pointed out how disrespectful it is but this is kind of a big deal. ppl getting stalked is fked up and more ppl need to know about it, so im sorry i just think its needed.
in general, women and non cis men are more likely to not call for help in any of these situations because the police just doesn't help this is why a lot of times people don't speak up on abuse
My ex girlfriend had a stalker once and the only thing police said they could do was get a restraining order, she instead went and bought a gun and open carried it. She didn't see her stalker again after that lmao
@@kitsunebiShake Pretty sure that men aren't gonna get more help from a stalker situation than women; try again. Nobody's on the other side of the line pulling out a checklist like "ah yes, you believe your life is in danger, but I'm afraid we can't do anything because you have no Y chromosomes."
@@Naokarma good thing we don't get stalked in the same way and in the same extend women do! it's not like there's countless of cases of women getting stalked and murdered by an angry ex, it's not like there's entire services dedicated to protecting women from abusive partners so they won't be found and killed we may not get more help from reporting a stalker but we sure as hell don't even have to worry about being followed home to get sexually assaulted
