@@averageenjoyer1662 All the rewards are the same in the permanent events except for what is limited. The only thing he’s missing out on is the Free Four Star. Which is not a big deal. And like he says he doesn’t care. But the quest to do the event is still available if he really want to do it. But that’s up to him.
Mixing drinks was nice. Running around trying to make monsters feel better was boring.

The reason why you still have the quest is because you only missed "The Limited Time Rewards". NOT the "Ordinary Rewards".

It was one of the better events, it’s not weird to like it.
Many other people have attention spans that are completely cooked, and can’t read unvoiced text for a couple minutes.

Isnt the drinking event apart of the Conventional Reviore. (Events that are able to be played after they're over). The star icon on the bottom left of the events tab. (The reason why he's able to access it afterwards).

I liked the mixing drinks event, but man I just could not give a crap about the cutscenes in between and the monsters we kept being forced to talk to. If you're going to have me mix drinks, then let me mix drinks, dont interrupt me with dialogue and characters I dont care about. A lot of these mini game events are like that. I like the mini game in them, and get bored out of my mind from the dialogue they force us to watch.
You dont HAVE to do a grand story for evey event, Hoyo....lol
It was just so cancer like it took me almost 3 hours to finish. Unacceptable and just way too long. Events should be nice and short.
And many people loved this story. So there is no good answer, different people like different things. Moat people liked this event becausw of story

Funny, it's still the best event they've done for me. Really shows how the game can hit and miss for different people.
You have to remember the time era was different. That was our second event I believe after the boxing one, which was short, they prob wanted to experiment and since these was permanent events, they wanted to make it last awhile, no one said to rush it, kind of not the point. As time go on, they starting to figure things out. And yes, some things will be inspired from genshin

I honestly really loved the mixing drinks event. The mini games they put out are really fun to me. I understand how it wouldn't appeal to everyone though. It's a good thing that they mix up the types of events they put out so that everyone can enjoy c:
Yeah, the asmr was really nice to the ears. I didn’t really care for the story, but the drink making was so fun. It reminded me of those old mobile games where you could make food at a carnival or whatever.

Eh, not really. Yes, he can make up for the lost jades with his wallet but I think his main reason is time. He won't waste time doing excruciating events when he can spend that time with his family

Yeah I missed that event too and a couple more events previously, I think the one I was the most bummed about was the LC superimposition for that Scooby do event, the one we had to get a following for.
I loved the drink mixing aspect cause I like making drinks irl and taking the designs and vague recipes from the game and crafting them at home, but man the story was a total drag. I just wanted to do mixology not become a therapist to characters I’m not attached to💀

You can still do that stage; you just won’t get a new unit/eidolon.

Yeah this event didn't grab me like all the previous ones, I still got everything from it but I wasn't enjoying my time, mixing the drinks was satisfying though!
Ruan Mei's DNA game (Critter Pick) was pretty rough to get through. Same with the bartender game. I have spent way too much time with random mini-games in HSR.

I skipped out on most of the end of this patch, and decided to spend my preminum dust to go for jingliu... hit the wrong banner and now i have an adventurine ;-; no clue if i will ever use him but its very frustrating going on hsr at the moment
I enjoyed the drinks more than tides of war, and it was the perfect balance of things in an event (for me): not too long but not too short, stay in one spot, not an insane amount of dialogue and the dialogue was pretty entertaining to me, fun actual content (again, for me, not everyone will agree). only complaint was when u had to go in the different worlds to see their true feelings or whatever. it annoyed me at times but it was mainly cuz i didn't stop to look at the entire map to find a route. other than that i'd put it in my top 3 main events with aetheriun wars at the top and some other event (museum or aurem alley maybe but AA was too long). regardless, I wouldn't worry about the event!

Nah I was chill listening to Jazz while doing the event, the only thing I NEVER bring myself to do is the "Come With Me, Take The Journey" Event. I know I'm losing lots of jades each version, but it's so difficult to find returning people willing to use your code on the game that I just give up.

He’s saying that even if he did or didn’t spend money it’s still easy, that’s why he’s still gonna spend. Unlike for WuWa he’s gonna play it f2p for a year to really experience the hardships of the game then go P2W to review the upcoming characters. He was still complaining the game was easy before spending money, not like him getting aventurine was the breaking point of him saying it’s easy.
He never complained. He said the game is good.

I actually finished the entire drink mixing event, the rest of Cosmodyssey, and the combat event on the last day it was there lol. It was very easy, didnt take long because I just spam clicked through the monster dialogue and the drink mixing was just "click whatever the game tells you to click". Definitely one of the least interesting events in HSR history though.
Yea I mainly play hsr while I work lmfao, I def wouldn't want to be grinding the game events and sim uni in my own spare time. MoC and PF i think are way more fun tho so doing those in free time im fine with
I would have skipped the event but luckily I had to take my car into the shop and managed to do the whole thing there. I thought the combat event was fun but the drink mixing event was just so boring.
Having fun are more important than min maxing, because at the end of the day this is a video game. Tbf, i like the mixology event, however i can see it being pretty tedious and there is no point in doing it if you really dont like it.

I missed half the event too, drinking event was good until it wasn't.
My opinion on the event :
Story - 8/10, bit boring for the start but then it hooks you and has a heartwarming ending
Drink Mixing : 8/10, it was solid fun, surprised you disliked it but people are different
Characters - 9/10, Siobhan and the Dreamjolt Hostelry were really fun and I liked their personalities, it kept me motivated to do the event
Dreamscapes - 4/10. Bland and samey. The only part of the event I didn't care for.
Overall, I'd give Vignettes a 7/10. That was enough for me to enjoy what felt like a small book I picked up to enjoy for a brief period with some minigames.
The mixed drink event was really meh for me too. Only reason I got it done is because i paced myself and only did a little bit every day or so. My brain would melt if I had to sit there through the entire event.
New to HSR and I guess all these annoying mini-game things (The Museum, the social media thing, the weird freight stacking and shipping, etc) were all previous events? They're so odd and out of place with what I want to be doing in game- but I guess that's Hoyo for you. Genshin does these too but they're never permanent content.
6:23 honestly, missing a limited lightcone would be frustrating cuz characters will always gets their rate up in banners but not the lightcones. So missing a character won't affect an account much I should say

These events are why i left HSR. Its one of the main ways of getting currency but i hated doing it. Since i wasnt gonna spend money i just stopped playing.

That's what I do with Genshin. I just do the content that I find interesting and then log off, I don't even bother doing dailies. Same thing will happen to HSR eventually. Fortunately industry is starting to pick up the pace in regards to those games so you'll probably have quite a bit of games to rotate through as a content creator

I’d rather do something valuable with my time and spend a few bucks to get a character or a weapon I want, than wasting hours playing events I don’t enjoy or grinding every chest just to save 20/50/80 bucks.

Same here. I actually regret doing that god awful event, I sat there on VC with my friend and took me around 3 hours of just clicking and spamming. 100% understandable. I really like the fight event though, those are always enjoyable to do and try out different characters and buffs.
