We purchased the Breville barista in 2015 and we just had to change out the water pump this year. Works like new again and we use multiple times a day. Definitely worth it and absolutely cuts down on takeaway coffee. Before we bought the machine we went out for espresso 2 or 3 times a week. And now we never get takeaway. Maybe 4 times a year?
Love this! Thanks for sharing! For the coffee, we actually add $50-$100 on our starbucks card and we pick up coffee at least once a week to "treat" ourselves. And then the rest of the week, we make coffee at home. We have a regular coffee machine that we add whatever coffee grinds we are feeling.
Also I love your monthly reset videos! I've tried so many ways to budget. Mostly with printables. But I got the excel spreadsheet and my money management is so much better now.
I have a De’Longhi Magnifica fully auto espresso machine and I have loved it! I bought it when I had to get out of the house quick and early in the morning. You use whole beans and it grinds and does everything for you once you push a button. I think now that I work from home I’d like to get a Breville at some point. I think getting good quality beans you like also makes a difference.
Ella, I am absolutely loving your monthly resets!! So excited for the next couple weeks as you and Nick move into your beautiful home 🥰 I also can't get over how stunning you are 🤍
These are honestly my favourite videos to watch 🫶 We just bought our first home so I downloaded this spreadsheet to help with our budgeting - absolute game changer! ⭐
I also recommend the DeLonghi Magnifica - fully automatic and you can use the beans and it grinds them. Bought mine at the start of COVID and it’s paid for itself many times over. Just about to try out the Aldi beans as they keep winning awards and want to see if they are any good.
I saw one of your videos and HAD to have this spreadsheet. I actually had a hard time figuring out the rollover situation. She offered to update it so whatever was leftover to spend from, for example, April, would populate left to spend in the next month. That way you're not adding income that you already considered income in the previous month!
These are fast becoming my favourite videos on UA-cam! I used your code to purchase the budgeting template. I’m finding it a bit tricky to switch to a monthly budget mindset instead of fortnightly but am getting there. Loving this content 💜
My parents have the coffee machine you mentioned & they love it. I was going to upgrade ours to the same one, until we got an automatic one at work & now I'm lazy & want an automatic one 😂
May might not be a great month to cut back on eating out, with everything in boxes you might find it very convenient to eat out for a while. We have a LatteGo (Phillips, $1000 or so), and we absolutely LOVE it.
I have a Delonghi machine and I love it. It only takes a couple more minutes to make a coffee than the pod machine and I just love it. I used to work in a cafe and making coffee was my favourite thing. Plus I love being in control of frothing the milk, I love doing art on the crema too ❤
@@smileycitrus it’s the Stilosa I got it from Big W on sale but the dream one is probably the Delonghi La Specialista Arte one from Myer 😍 the green one is my dreammmmm machine haha
@@smileycitrus I feel controversially the same with Colleen Hoover. May be a bit teen but I find John Green always re sparks my reading journey as he is so easy to read
Also completely unrelated to this video, but in your last vlog, you mentioned you and Nick got each other anniversary presents, I know you got Nick a print out of your wedding vows, but what did you get Nick? (If you don't mind me asking). As you didn’t say or show what Nick got you.
Love these videos (you may be inspiring me to make them haha)! Silly question but do you get taxed on the surveys or is the takeaway amount after tax? x
Can’t wait for next months it’s going to be so interesting to see the changes in the budget! So excited for the moving content 🎉 I have to say though I love your reading budget I’m not seeing much reading in your May month with everything else going on but I’d recommend The Fall by Louise Jesen it’s her brand new thriller but all her books are awesome 👏🏻 my May goal is to increase my income significantly I’ve been working for myself and I work bloody hard but the fruits aren’t yet flourishing so it might be time to get a part time job which I’m not happy about mental health wise but I think it’s needed financially for us to reach our goals
Another tip, if you have a favourite coffee place - ask them if you can buy the beans straight from them and most say yes! It’s amazing and you can have you favourite coffee at home
22:06 absolutely love my Breville Barista Express. It’s so reliable and makes great coffee. I’m a fan for life.
we're going to go with that one! thank you x

The smeg coffee machine is amazing and I get the Toby’s estate beans 😮💨
Good coffee. I use 2x pods @ home to make the coffee strong enough and on the rare occasion 3!
So incredibly excited for the next chapter in your life! You’ve been waiting so long for this point 😭❤️
You'd be surprise how many people take awhile to get to changing their last name!! Feeling the same mood with Goals this month. Thanks for sharing!!❤
Giving me inspiration girl. Thanks for the weekly dose of serotonin and sprinkle of motivation 😊

Congrats on the upcoming move! So exciting 🥳
Can I ask how you differentiate between Eating Out and Social?
Loving your monthly reset! Exited for may as you! And good luck with the new apartment!
Butcher and the Wren by Alaina Urquhart was really good! It’s a shorter read, perfect to get out of a slump!
oooh I haven't heard of that one! I'll have to suss. Thank you xx
I love your budget spreadsheet! any chance you could share it?
I have it linked in the description box 🥰
Book suggestion: The People We Keep! - Allison Larkin!! Couldn’t put it down

that's a great point! we have YouFoodz so that'll help but maybe I should increase our eating out budget 😅
@@smileycitrus Or takeaway for sure, no one wants to have to unpack a bunch of boxes just to make dinner!
Looking forward to seeing the whole move process and changes to the budget. Goodbye rent!!
good riddance!! 🫡

We have the breville duo you want to make sure the coffee machine has dual boiler Great video as usual
I have heard Magnolia Parks is amazing and perfect to get out of slumps. I’m wanting to read it once I finish my current book ❤
I tried reading it and it just wasn't for me 😭 I don't think I was in the mood for it but i'm going to try again
@@smileycitrus I feel controversially the same with Colleen Hoover. May be a bit teen but I find John Green always re sparks my reading journey as he is so easy to read
Hope you’re well Ella ❤❤
I am thanks lovely! Hope you are too ❤️
If you haven’t read it already ‘Things We Never Got Over’ by Lucy Score. I really enjoyed it!
Hi! I love your video! What planner are you using?
thank you! It's the Steph Pase Signature Planner 💓

He got me a memory block with our wedding photo 🥹 + a big frame for us to choose and print our fave pics and hang in the new house x
@@smileycitrus That is SO lovely!!!!

I agree.. Disney Plus is amazing and i don't even watch Disney Movies 😆BUT i LOVE the 'Star' part of it. 👌
I watched every month per one seating❤
Love these videos (you may be inspiring me to make them haha)! Silly question but do you get taxed on the surveys or is the takeaway amount after tax? x
so glad you enjoy 🥰 Not a silly question at all! I put a portion aside for tax x

I pretty much exclusively have iced coffee and it makes life so easy just making a double shot and adding to iced milk
Our finest hour by Jennifer Wilkins I think it’s called, AMAZING 😊
Hi Ella happy Sunday night and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I wanted the same surname as my kids, got married 5 years ago, 2 more kids since then and I still haven’t changed my name 🤦🏻♀️😂
HAHAHA that will be me 😂😂
Does anyone know if it’s possible to use the spreadsheet template on excel when you do some adjustments in the formulas?
It's excel friendly!
@@smileycitrus Thank you!! 🥰
