Live streaming from the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport. Currently using dual runway ops at MAN, catching airplanes taking off and landing on two separate runways. I really admire and appreciate how open and honest you are about the behind the scenes stuff, it elevates (pardon the pun!) this channel and community to a much greater level than other channels. I second this guys. We have a business page in Meta, and the support is atrocious, getting thrown around from person to person who can not help with your query.
Disgusting the way facebook have treated you guys. Love your work, your professionalism in aviation is of a high standard.
Glad I'm not the only one. FB has been an absolute nightmare for us for so long. We're pulling right back now as it's just too erratic. Not to mention the fact that every single video gets wrongly copyright claimed and then takes weeks for them to rectify via the appeals process, yet they constantly copyright flag other peoples' content as containing my footage erroneously and we have to try and unpick it every time. At one point 90% of our revenue came from FB, but now it's just pennies. For the handful of views and revenue Facebook provides, it's simply not worth it any more.
Well explained gents. FB does not deserve your efforts and they can have a nice day. I was thinking the same about Twitter now called X. When the owner of a service does not have their heart all in, it is time to say goodbye.

Well done for your candid overview. I use meta business suite for a separate private business (not my channel) and it is a nightmare to navigate. I hate it, so much so I almost brought in an agency to manage campaigns. It is clunky and cumbersome and support… what support?! Digital content is an ever changing landscape and UA-cam is right place to be for a channel like yourselves without jumping through Metas hoops. Dont get me started on stolen footage… perils of the job unfortunately and don’t hold your breath in having it removed on meta. UA-cam is a different story thankfully. You made the right choice for you and your channel. 👍

I don't blame you at all, I've been getting more and more fed up with facebook, it definitely isn't the same place it used to be. And yes the bugs are horrific. I have to manually refresh the page to get notifications of any kind to work every single time.

Facebook is nuts man, they demonetized me twice from there because there smart bot flagging airplane landings as harmful content 😂 than they tell you ah apply here for review but the option isn’t even available, unbelievable man understand you guys 1000%
Wow. Definitely the right course of action guys. You’ve got enough to focus on and a living to make, without those constant battles. I’ve been moving more and more away from FB too over the last year or 2. I don’t think I’m the only one either.

Facebooks changed so much since the name change. I can't even get notifications for anything anymore with all my settings double checked even by experts

Exactly this... The Meta Business suite is an utter shambles. Its broke my page and my account limited due to a video posted by a school celebrating a school visit i did. Time to embrace UA-cam TikTok and other channels. Keep up the good work guys

You have done the right thing. Facebook introducing subscription model in March or users will have to agree to targeted ads in order to be compliant with EU ruling.
One thing that does worry me though is the appalling way in which UA-cam handled the Sniperwolf issue, showing that the rules don't apply to their favourites.
Look further I'd be like... Odysee & Rumble are probably better alternatives that Facebook & UA-cam combined, majorily less fuss with adds and such unwanted things, thus more pleasant for the viewer. When I watch videos I wants to watch content and not adds, Add blockers are a good way to fly for sure, sadly YT has been blocking them but there are plenty of workarounds to keep me as a viewer satisfied lol
As for Facebook I never had an issue with it my friends from SDTV also use it all seems to be going well really, their support system can be flaky but so far every report I made always came through just fine.
I despise Facebook, like most things these days it's just a data and cash mill, that said i will only be using discord for updates on shows as it just doesn't fit for me. In other news, whose the baby faced assassin on screen?
Add up the estimated lost revenue and go and seek legal advice regards it. Just because they're a large organisation, you shouldn't be afraid of going to get what you're entitled to from them.

Facebook has turned dire you hardly see any posts by friends anymore just adverts scams and videos that should be banned !!! i was banned for three weeks recently for something i was seemingly tagged in way back in 2016 !!!! It's a cesspit and to be honest i get fed up clicking on a video and seeing advert after advert for shady financial services or those trying to basically pick your pockets i can't blame you for removing yourselves from the platform

Hi Andy and Martin, your channel is great, but at the end if the day, you are both making a living. You need to get paid on time, otherwise it’s a lot of stress for you and you just don’t need that.
