For anyone coming to this, hoverpads no longer activate unless actually facing the ground so they can't be used in this way anymore. Either that or I'm completely missing something here, but I've tried other setups that just try and activate the hoverpads while facing blocks or a seat and none of them work. I'm sure it's simple enough to set up a different forward and back propulsion though, since the rest of this still works great.

That's correct, fant patched them a little bitt back, I forgot to update the video to reflect this. 🙂

anti grav blocks can be obtained in survival
The question is, if you put other blocks on it, it won’t lose its antigravity.
No, it won't, It removes the weight of your creation. You still need to build on it in such a way that is balanced though
