Half of the fun of watching this video is seeing you enjoying taking every shot. No soundtrack needed indeed! Keep up the good work
I feel the same way
Thanks so much Paul that’s so great hear! 😁
Every photo has slightly different settings - any chance you could make a video on how do you make those decisions right before taking a photo? Amazing work, thank you in advance!
It just so happens I’ve already made a video covering this check this out
ua-cam.com/video/DlsbOpM-iRQ/v-deo.htmlsi=XyKW-QEMNWzWMG84
Hope that helps! 😃
Beautiful shots! Love how you explain your process and show the before/afters
Great shots, mate! Bangkok looks like a great city to shoot!
Bought myself an a6700 and a Sigma 56mm lens so I can’t wait to take it out for street photography. It can be challenging in cold Canadian winters sometimes 😂🥶
Glad you enjoyed Bangkok! Absolutely amazing pictures
love those vibrant low clarity edits in these!!!
Thanks 😃
Yeayy really love to see the RAW photos included .. 😍 HAPPY NEW YEAR to you 🎊
Loving the enthousiasm! It's also nice to see your before and after shots, gives an idea of what I should shoot for in camera.
The video and photographs are bangers! 🔥
wooo thanks mate!
Another awesome video Curtis! Looking forward to see more!
Thanks mate, night pov dropping next! 📸
Welcome to Thailand!! From one of your follower.🎉
Each time I go out for a street photography, I’m starting to imitate the way u speak 😂
Amazing pictures! I love that you share the Shutter speed, Aperture, ISO. Makes me more aware of what to use in similar circumstances. You're doing fantastic-carry on!
Thanks mate, super stoked to hear my videos are helping too! 😃
Excellent pics but the edits were on point for sure. You always make me so jealous and wish I could travel more to do street photography as well.
you TRULY are an inspiration
I love the photos and the commentary. I learn a lot from the videos. Thanks.
That’s ace to hear mate, thanks Justin! 🙌
great work man! making me want to go back!!
Thanks mate! I so wanna go back too haha
Wow, each photo was better than the last. Amazing pictures, really inspiring stuff!
Also, Bangkok has some amazing vistas.
Thanks mate really appreciate that!
Love this video and all that you’ve been capturing with the a6700, this sensor is absolutely amazing. Tons of color depth in post to push and pull any grading style you fancy. Found it as fun as grading pictures out of the A7iv. Very similar color depth.
Sick photos! You make it look very easy, although I know the feeling when you nail one photo after another. Sometimes luck plays a big role aswell!
Thanks mate! 🙌
Nice catch of the lady pointing up around 2 minutes in. Great stuff. And thank you for the wonderful video. It was a blast to follow along.
Thanks Chris, glad you enjoyed following along :)
Really enjoyed seeing this video. My first time visiting your channel.
Brought back memories from my time in Bangkok.
I was so taken with your presets I bought them and straight into Lightroom. Just the colours in a few of those I have been trying to achieve in my journey into photography.
Gives me inspiration to use them and adjust to how I have in my mind
Amazing pic, Im FC from Thailand. Happy to see u enjoy here. 😊
So inspiring….love that APs-C and 24mm GM combo. So good. I want to do some of these type of videos in 2025
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you! 😃
its always so damn hot & sweaty in Bangkok, fatigue sets in way to quick haha.. great work Curtis , i like sky train & high level shots from the bridge the best
Magnifique bravo pour cette vidéo. Bangkok et l asie est un rêve pour la photo
Those are very very good photos!!!
Thanks mate! 🙌
Un placer poder entender todo lo que dices gracias al doblaje automático. Me encantan tus sesiones fotográficas, eres un maestro.
That’s ace! A pleasure to hear people are getting some use out of it! Thanks mate 😃
Happy new year and God bless you🙏
I love Bangkok (my second home), I usually stay in the Silom area (not in central, yet close enough to where locals eat and hang out)
muchas gracias por el doblaje en español, nuevo sub
Nice! Finally a GM lens on the A6700.
Which no fun because not challenging
Great photos, your enthusiasm is very infectious. Just picked up the Sig 56mm myself and eager to give it a whirl. Do you carefully plan your routes when you go out to shoot like this or do you just explore?
Ayyy thanks mate appreciate that! Hope you are enjoying the 56mm! It’s a bit of both exploring wise. I know which areas to visit and then sometimes get exploring from there.
@@CurtisPadley Oh yes, loving the 56mm so far! Thanks for the reply 😊
Welcome to BKK!
wlcome to thailand
would you consider (having a camera without ibis) a tamron 17-70 as go-to street/portraits lens?
What did you use for pov view?
What do you do in situations of harsh lighting without any ND filter?
Buen video me gusta que tenga doblaje automático. Está muy bueno para tus siguientes videos
Ayyy that’s great to hear!
Curtis give me to advice my new setup . I bought 6700 + sigma 18-50 .
1- I need more zoom lens like 18-300 tamron or sony 70-350 , Both have good photo stabilization, but what do you think about video, especially after 70mm?
2- ı want 1.4 sigma series or viltrox 1.2 , whats your advice for photo ? Should ı buy despite 18-50 mm ?
Thanks 😅
I have the Sony a6700 and Sigma 18-50 f2.8. I shot with this combo a lot and it was great. Some months ago I bought the Sony 70-200 GM on 50% discount, and it is a just amazing! Get some full frame glass so you can upgrade later to a full frame buddy 😊
May I ask what is the name of the first couple presets you use at the beginning of the shots? i have all your presets but I cant find that specific one
Can you talk about your experience with the 24mm GM on that APSC body?
@@margaretisolan9189 Yes, this is so easy to talk about. It’s absolutely brilliant! 🤩 hope that helps! :)
@ alrighty 😂
I think if you don't work for National Geographic or make large prints for a living, the 6700 is THE BEST!
So true! The A6700 has probably been my most used camera this year, I love it!
Come to Kuala Lumpur
I hope you to come Jakarta city for street photography using Sony A6700 ❤️
Where is the sigma 30 😅😅 i love that lens
I notice the way you take pics, you don't hold it by your eye, like you're not using the view finder, got me thinking, would the EV-Z10 worked for you ?
@CurtisPadley Do I understand correctly that the FE 24mm GM full frame lens gives view of 16mm on APS-C A6700 ? To get an APS-C image from a full frame lens I always divide by 1.5 ?
@@Sebartus Hello Seb, you have things a little backwards but that’s alright. So essentially any lens you put on an APS-C camera you have to multiple the focal length by 1.5x. So the 24mm gm lens on APS-C camera gives the approximate focal length of 35mm.
Hope that helps buddy 🙌😁
how do u decide quickly what to change ur aperature, iso and f-stop to?
I’ve made a video talking about this if that’s of any help
ua-cam.com/video/DlsbOpM-iRQ/v-deo.htmlsi=gT6ljqIFBonQlWs1
Hope that is of help mate 😃
when you are coming to india.
Firsttttt
Guys, are sony 6400 still worth to buy for beginner?
I really think it is a good camera to start with, with the lens option to choose but to be reminded it is 2019 release so mind to consider the extra batteries. If you don’t mind the brand, try consider canon R50 😄
@ thank youu. But i don’t think i would choose canon. I think canon doesn’t have a bunch of lenses like sony. Hehe, but thank you dor replying my comment
A6400 when?
Not on this trip.
@CurtisPadley is a6400 still oke for beginners in 2025? How about canon Eos RP or zv e10?
you never go to a very high roof top and make a golden hour or night photo?
Or the nice girls in the street? ;-)
Delighted to say I did go to a high roof top in Bangkok at night, those photos will be included in my night POV! :D
Love the way you enjoy taking pictures.
BTW , why not use the sigma 18-50mm, should cover the whole trip
Thanks! Couldn’t be happy behind my camera in a place like this 🤩
I am currently really enjoying using primes, as they force me to zoom with my feet and I find that increases my creative thought process :)
@CurtisPadley you are a huge inspiration
Nothing like blowing your own trumpet.
Nothing like continuing to leave negative comments on my videos Dean. Thanks for increasing my engagement!
😂😂😂
I Not See why the Fotos are spezial.
Perhaps be more constructive in your comments rather then just negative ey?
I listened to the different audio tracks and in every language, yeah, it sounds more or less like a human, except in German. I don´t know why this is, but the German sounds aweful, really disgusting. Like a dumb robot. Thanks for that UA-cam, thanks for reminding us all.
great work man! making me want to go back!!
@@EthanRennie-e7e Thanks mate! Seeing my own shots makes me also want to go back! 🇹🇭
