    A caveat, on number 5 because I have seen this too many times. It YOU are the laziest, most unmotivated, stuck in the mud person in the room, you will be asked to LEAVE the room.
    Many times this one person will pull people down or in the very least produce palpable acrimony in the room.
    Motivated people surround themselves with other motivated people with a shared goal. It’s not their task or job to motivate you.
    So, before entering that room be damn sure you’re there to up your game and not just whine and complain.

      Good caveat. A-players don't put up with B-players.

    This was absolutely stellar Anthony! I struggle big time with the ‘employee’ mindset as a consultant trading time for money. I would be super-keen to hear your ideas and suggestions on how to break this once and for all! ❤

    • @AnthonyVicino
      @AnthonyVicino  8 місяців тому +2

      Truthfully, there is no "breaking the mindset once and for all".
      It's so ingrained in the way we think that it's hard to escape entirely. It's a battle you have to fight every single day.
      Build this way of thinking into a habit.

    I naturally resisted the school system and felt like I was wasting my time and could be doing more when I got into college while not perfect it definitely allowed me to start learning freely, i was studying engineering and everything I learned I always thought how I could use it to create something, to create an app, a piece of technology, a robot ect. I stopped counting time I just learned studied and developed projects to became a better engineer, now at work I work hard to grow my skills faster than average so I can make better and more advanced technology both on my own and for my company. I will be able to use these skills to both progress more into my job but also to create side hustles or do contract work on the side.

    One thing I totally fail to understand. In January 2024 a friend convinced me that even on my pathetic South African State Pension I actually COULD save. For 68 years I never understood, or empathised with or understood, money. Suddenly, for no reason that I can see, money has COME ALIVE for me. It breathes, moves, SPEAKS. I'm constantly thinking of ways of making more money, I have MORE ENERGY. And I cannot, for the life of me, think WHY.

    I likek your videos, and the mindset you promote in the videos, but I have a problem with "Stop waiting to be told what to do", because otherwise I do not know what to do. Even with my friends I find myself in situations when I do not know what to speak about and which conversation to start, usually I just have nothing to say. Maybe you could give some advice on this topic, because I'd like to improve this, but I do not know how.

    Bro, it's not the thumbnail. I had to read that title like 3 times to understand what is trying to say. It doesn't help that I'm also a programmer and that was causing confusion. Consider these titles instead "
    1. " Well Intentioned Tips That Keep You Poor"
    2. "Common Advice That Holds You Back from Wealth"
    3. "Debunking Money Tips That Keep You Broke"
    4. "How Popular Financial Guidance Backfires"
    5. "Conventional Money Wisdom That Limits Your Success"
    6. "Break Free from Misguided Financial Advice"
    7. "Why Some Financial Tips Do More Harm Than Good"
    8. "Exposing Flawed Advice That Hinders Your Growth"
    9. "Challenge the Status Quo: Avoid Advice That Keeps You Poor"
    10. "Rethink Money Myths: Spot Pitfalls Disguised as Wisdom""

    • @swoleavocado
      @swoleavocado 8 місяців тому

      @@matej_u You're replying to an old post. The dude has updated the thumbnail and title multiple times since then. I didn't rely on vidIQ. Instead, I focused on using straightforward verbs and active voice. There's a great book called "Vex, Hex, Smash, Smooch: Let Verbs Power Your Writing" that covers this topic.
      The issue with verbs is that most users search using adjectives. So, while using verb-based suggestions might create catchy headlines, they don't perform well in organic search results.

      Reading books (specifically biographies), listening to podcasts, and watching UA-cam videos is a great way of getting 'mentorship'.

      The CTR on top 2 titles is ~1.5% better than the other variations.
      The top title is about .25% better than #2 (so not crazy significant).
      In the past, we've seen as much as a 3% improvement in CTR from a tweak in title, so it's definitely worth experimenting to find the one that hits.
      Also, this is getting into the weeds, but the title that performs best in the first two days might not be the same title that performs best long-term (difference between a title that appeals to current subscribers versus appealing to non-subscribers on the home page).

    Rofl. Stop taking advice from poor people. If you follow the advice of rich people (most of them spend thousands to "fake it until they make it" and it ends their life). I'm sure you said a lot of interesting things, but... the title of your last point may need to be rephrased... I'd suggest going for what you know to be true after you've tested it. To persevere works 100x > than anything... The rest of your points seem okay. Sorry I didnt delve into your vid. Also... success is to maintain something not necessarily to grow it exponentially.. If you dont know how to maintain a thing; you will fail at improving it
