Great that i found your video it's helpful for me but can u tell that in your previous lecture based on differential manometer lecture why you multiply water density i.e.1000 with specific gravity of mercury since there is mercury?
Kindly tell me the video in i multiplied by 1000. But in general if we want to know the density of mercury, then we multiply specific gravity of mercury which is 13.6 with standard density of fluid which is water.(1000 Kg/m3). Sp. Gravity of mercury = (Density of mercury/density of water) Sp. Gravity of mercury x density of water = Density of mercury
