No fuss about it, just a good old fight.
Modded Classes: Bowman, Milkmaid, Botanist
Modded Boss: Rotting King

The Grueling Estate modlist is a lighter version, made to have as little jank as possible while having as many features as I could cram in there.
steamcommunity...
The True Estate is, as the name would imply, EVERYTHING I use. This has a small chunk of jank, if you don't mind it. I at least try to make things as presentable as I can.
That monstruous leper design looks sick as hell
hehe
Eyyyyyyyy
Based on what I’m seeing… As long as there is one cultist in the field, the rotting king will focus on killing the cultist. So you need to focus on bossing the of the cultist to act as shields while attacking the king.
Fun fact cultist heal when Taken damage they start whit 5 heal
That is only temporary, Rotting King will use a instakill move in the cultist if you drag out the fight abusing that
3:42 oof.
I can feel that crit pain.
Just a casual Crit for my Health Bar on Purge. God, imagine if Rotting King used Chop with numbers like these.
Missed opportunity to use rotting king leper
Eh, I prefer the dichotomy between Crowned Leper and Rotting King.
Bro does a wacky amount of damage, good job! The ignorance of prot is a bit of a pain, especially with leper
The Bowman shooting umbrellas give dark souls PTSD
So... This guy has only two attacks and still will beat the shit out of you? Cool concept
Well, it IS a leper so
I actually managed to keep both cultists alive, only to have the Rotting King use a new ability: 'Royal Execution' which instantly killed one of the cultists. Perhaps a soft enrage timer if he can't kill the cultists by normal means. That got me quite stressed, as my whole strategy was based around keeping them alive, slowly wittling the boss down.
2:00 and then the rotting king took an arrow to the knee
man winning such a fight without any deaths is hard, good job mate
Now we need a T pose version of this big boi.
"red the tittle, see is leper vs leper boss"
Ok, time to put "Avenged Sevenfold - Hail to the king" in the background.
The only thing I don't like is how he switches arms in the animations for the sword swings
Why'd they have to give the rotting king an entire bakery?
That's S-Purple in general. Everyone gets a bakery.
It's called correct muscle anatomy. His entire body is very muscular, that includes the glutes
What's the difference between King Baldwin (Leper) and The Other Guy?
One's dying of Leprosy, the other's dying of Super Leprosy.
@@cerebralcloud92 And the latter's is rotting their brain so bad they can't even think right?
King version is baldwing at the beggining of his infection, still can see and the sword hasn't been broken yet. Rotting king is a dark version of baldwing after succumbing to the dark powers to "cure" his leprosy, turning him into that monstrosity that is now empowered by the disease.
Nurgle favors this one
"Name's Ash. Housewares."
I wonder if there is no other corrupted champions like this
Thanks youtube for not notiyfying me for the 4th time

@@LordZalgo Blame UA-cam.
@@cerebralcloud92 Eh.... Yeah, he is blaming UA-cam, he just said "thanks UA-cam..."
🤨
A cheese to this boss fight for anyone who plays modded Darkest Dungeon:
Search up the character mod "Blackguard" his last skill is Inexorable, a self immobilizing spell that buffs PROT, gives him +25% Healing recieved, and -50% Relinquish self DMG, which is a single target healing spell, that DMGes you.
Give him some minor protection boost, and hes pretty much perma 1st in the lineup, with 80% Prot and self heal/bleed.
The Rotting King usually targets the first one-two with its spells. Regardless, the Blackguard can pretty much frontline all of the punishment he gets.
Reminder that the Rotting King completely ignores Prot.
@@cerebralcloud92 Thats fine, the healing ability Blackguard has - at leas in my case - was able to outheal the recieved DMG if it wasnt a critical hit.
Or you can just download the templar and basically say "fuck you" to rotten king, because one of templar's skills with trinket literally heals 45hp without a crit and 140(!) with crit. Seriously, i beat him without using his cultists. Also canoneer is good choice for bosses, because he can deal 90hp damage with a crit
Two sides of the same coin huh
Very cool looking boss, but seems kinda weak. How is he supposed to kill your heroes? He's super slow, can't hit the back ranks and has no DoTs by the looks of it - having two AOE healers would more or less make it impossible for any of your team to die. Since he ignores prot and guard just make sure to fit your frontline with max hp and +healing received trinkets and things should go smoothly (maybe you could even put a move resist trinket of some kind on rank 1 since it seems like the boss can only use perishing purge on rank 1). I suppose one possible way would be if he got to move twice in a row and crit a single hero both times. Seems kind of like a nerfed prophet. For a boss that looks like such a gigachad I expected something scarier, especially since he's intentionally handicapped at the start by having to kill the rotting cultists to get to your team.
Basically, Crit Purge, and Hazardous Hew debuffs your Healing Received for the battle, so if he spams Hew enough times, he will get kills.
@@cerebralcloud92 I suppose that's another way, though you can definitely buy a lot of time with a couple stacks of medicinal herbs. As long as you don't take like 12 turns to kill him things shouldn't get particularly hairy.
Nice I love that boss fight
Was the title a kingdom rush refrence?!
what's that vial in your inventory? Some kinda modded buff item?
Cleansing Elixir from Werewolf, clears Stuns on Party on Use.
@@cerebralcloud92 ...WHAT? SHE CAN MAKE YOU CONSUMABLES????
Can someone tell me lore of this boss?
Is mod?
What’s that Leper’s skin?
Crowned Leper
@@cerebralcloud92 thx
What are the mechanics of the fight?
Rotting King can’t attack you unless in 1-2, and the Cultists prevent it from being in 1st. Cultists heal whenever attacked by Heroes.
Treat this fight as basically having to fight a Solo Leper with double damage and double actions.
@@cerebralcloud92 that sounds boring for a boss tbh
