Great video. I understand about the need for enough upload speed, but would the computer processing power have to also be double to handle this? Is it "double" encoding?
Great video tutorial ❤❤🎉 So this video creates something similar to Restream? Is this correct? The main difference is broadband strength. So if I wanted to stream to Tiktok as well, I would probably need Restream or something similar. Is that the idea? 😮 Thanks again from Australia. Cheers, Chef Brendan 🎉
Yes it does what Restream does except your need way more internet connection as you add more outputs. For TikTok and instagram you can add as well if you wanna do vertical there is a plugin you can use call Autum. I will make a video for that this week make sure you subscribe and turn on notifications for when it goes live.
Thank you for the tutorials.... My question is, how were you able to get that START STREAMING & MANAGE STREAMING buttons side by side under the CONTROLS dock
Notice how even though your secondary stream (in this case facebook, 6000 kilobits) is not being monitored in OBS only the UA-cam bitrate is being monitored. Im talking about the little green bars at the bottom of OBS, it's only monitoring the upload for youtube and not the upload for facebook, so it stays around 10,000 instead of 16,000. I guess this is because RTMP is a plugin and not part of the official software.
The installer version is known for getting flagged for containing malware. It came up positive on malwarebytes for me as well. However the windows zip file did NOT test positive for malware. I'd suggest getting that and installing it manually.
very informative. Thank you so much for this video, I have a question: I've been streaming Facebook live via OBS for a while now. I've always wanted to stream UA-cam live as well with no success. I just follow your steps for youtube which was successful. However, once I go live on UA-cam I didnt get the option to go live on facebook. I went to settings to stream to select facebook live and it was greyed out. How do I fix this issue please?
You have to set it up before going live. Once you are live some settings can’t be changed. If this doesn’t help Please share a screenshot of the issue in my facebook group. Link in description
@@LiveProductionTips Thank you Sir. I did set it up prior to going live. But I will do it over and if the problem persist, I will share my screenshot. Thanks again.
After live streaming the stream stays there so you don’t have to re-upload another one, unless you decide to take it down. You also have an option to record and stream at the same time if you need a copy on your computer maybe for editing later
You actually forgot one very important thing - to have UA-cam account set and verified for streaming. This way you are saying "it's super super easy" and it doesn't work and you don't provide the necessary info.
@@dalibornovak9865 you definitely have a point. However I adressed this in a dedicated how to live stream on UA-cam for the first time Video . Multi streaming doesn’t necessarily mean it’s your first time streaming on UA-cam
Is running the installer all you need to do for this? I watched another video about this plugin, and it had some manual file transfer involved. And the source page on OBS said you might have to have some actual coding experience to run this. Have they streamlined the process?
@@LiveProductionTips Thank you very much. We were blocked from streaming on Facebook for the last month or so, so we have been streaming to UA-cam, but now that FB is letting us stream again, we are thinking that it might be good to stream to both. I am glad that it's a simple process.
what about this new facebook vertical video thing? last time i tryed with my phone it didnt allow horizontal.. obs will take care of that no? thank you :-)
When you stream from your phone most platforms will take the feed horizontal if you need to change that you use an application or software. If you wanna go Live Horizontally OBS does it if you need vertical OBS can stil do it. I have videos about that on the channel

@@LMHop it depends on how you set it up. If you choose to copy the main stream it doesn’t add much processing power.

The newest OBS version should have that, very useful if you’re streaming on UA-cam. Also don’t forget to connect your channel to OBS in settings
It’s just drag and drop the dock where you want it. I hope I understood your question.
It enables when, in this case, you add your UA-cam channel in Settings->Stream
