Join us on our final night in Karachi as we explore the local market trying to find some bargains.
Then we do what we do best... EAT! First off, we try a local sweet being made on the street... and we have no idea what it is! Of course we also needed to try some famous Karachi Biriyani and we went for the spicy option! Maybe a mistake haha 😜 Finishing off with a local Pakistani sweet dessert... which has NOODLES!!

@@AshAndDan. Its called Paan (pronounced Pawn) here in south asia and It's beetle nut leaf with all sorts of stuffings. The one you had is called "Meetha Paan" loaded with nuts, some sweet syrups and saffron etcetra, but there are tons of other variations too like "Patti Paan" for narcotic effects.
You should definitely try "Fire Paan" (yes, its actually burning hot lit with fire on top) while you're in Karachi. Although, I'd not recommend buying it from dodgy unhygienic street stalls, unless you always carry some imodium with you
Yes, you eaten paan This is eaten after dinner and after lunch in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

It's sweet paan, famous in India and Pakistan. Ingredients are betel nut, aniseed, tuttyfrutty,. edible lime and other ingredients as per customer's choice and all this wrapped in betel leaf, there's other types of paan also called tobacco paan which has different drugs but it's not for everyone, I think you may call it local delicacy
It wasn’t for me! I had no idea what it was. I thought it was a sweet ‘dessert’ like thing with chocolate and sprinkles but yeah, I wouldn’t have it again 😂

Most pakistan food places are clean few shady ones out there though but food will always be good ✌️🔥🔥
We always try to visit places that are busy, usually means foot turnover is quicker and less chance of food poisoning 😉 seems to work most of the time!

@19:01 Hey dude its PAAN (betel leaf). The one you ate was the sweet one, the chewing tobacco version is also available. Its very famous all over the country but especially in Karachi people ate it very much.

Not suspicious, we learned this is normal hospitality from local Pakistani people. We just didn’t have much time as we had a train to catch and still had to finish shopping and eat food 😄

0:40 they’re not all knock offs.. Nike adidas Zara old navy all major brands get their clothes made there, the branded clothes you see didn’t pass quality checks with the brand and get sold in the local market
U should have tried chicken BIRYANI, it tastes 1000X better.
Chicken biriyani is also excellent but we had never had a potato one so we thought we would try something different 😀 one of our favourite Pakistani dishes!
