"Water Song" by Su Shi [Chinese Poetry Narrated by Dashan]

- Lyric poetry to the tune of "Water Song", by Song Dynasty poet Su Shi, also known as Su Dongpo. Written in 1076, still commonly quoted to commemorate the Mid-Autumn Festival today.
明月几时有？把酒问青天。
不知天上宫阙，今夕是何年？
我欲乘风归去，又恐琼楼玉宇，高处不胜寒。
起舞弄清影，何似在人间？
转朱阁，低绮户，照无眠。
不应有恨，何事长向别时圆？
人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺，此事古难全。
但愿人长久，千里共婵娟。
How long has the moon shone bright?
I raise my cup and ask the heavens
I wonder in that heavenly palace
What year is this night?
I long to ride the winds and return
but fear in those jade & nephrite towers
such high places, I could not bear the cold.
I rise and dance, with my shadow I play
Does this seem like the mortal realm?
Moonlight rounds the crimson pavilion
descending through the ornate window
to shine on the sleepless.
The moon ought not feel malice.
Why so round at times of parting?
People experience sorrow and joy, separation and reunion
For the moon, clouds and clearing, waxing and waning
Not made whole since ancient times
One only hopes we have long lives
though far apart, to share in her allure.

I am still learning about Chinese poetry. It seems this style was used for actual songs, but unfortunately many (most?) of the ancient tunes are lost to time. Since this style of poetry is new to me I may be mistaken so take those words with a grain of salt. But this does appear to be the text of this particular poem.

这些东西都是因人而异的主观意识。影响道德价值观就是教育，宗教也有很大关系。民间跟政府要深入了解什么？

Colonel Wang Yaping would be one of them. Wang is a Chinese military pilot and astronaut, and she is the second female astronaut selected to the People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps, and the second Chinese woman in space. I am so excited by the news that embodied #Dun-huang; Wall-painting; Flying Fairy# I wrote a poem for commemoration.
