- Huge EXPLOSION Rocks Iran-backed Military Group in Iraq
This video captures the moment a massive explosion rocked a military base belonging to an Iran-backed militia in Iraq.
The powerful blasts erupted at a site belonging to the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU).
Footage from the scene shows the explosion set fire to trees in the surrounding areas, causing the fire to rapidly spread.
The blast at the military base has resulted in at least one fatality and 20 injuries, according to security sources.
The Iraqi military stated that no drones or fighter jets were detected in the airspace of the Babil area before or during the blast.
Inside the base on Saturday morning showed a large crater and damage to infrastructure and vehicles.
