I loved this episode and one of my new favs. She is amazing.
Kate Egan is one of the only characters who can be featured in all of the Spin-offs. This actress has been on the Original, Ghost and Force( So Far) Kate Egan is the most major connection of the timelines currently.
A younger version of Kate is mentioned in many popular fan theories for Raising Kanan. It’s very likely the character of Kate Egan will appear in Raising Kanan maybe even before James( Jamie) and Tommy.
You right. And what’s even crazier is she could switch up the hair and makeup and be Tommy’s mom on Raising Kanan too (if they ever introduce Tommy and Ghost)

This was a great conversation. Glad they finally got Mrs. Kalember on to talk about arguably one of Power's most complex characters in Kate. It's wild talking about the trajectory of the Tariq's character so far with season 4 of Ghost on the horizon which has the set up to be it's wildest season yet.
I think the biggest reason fans got on Tariq's side aside from Michael Rainey Jr's acting was the series of Ghost finally made the character fully relatable to the audience. In the original Power outside of his race the audience just couldn't really relate to Tariq. Fans saw this young black kid born into privilege's most watching likely never saw or even still will ever see, and instead of taking full advantage it felt like Tariq did everything in his power to ruin it. To see him have everything, then seemingly bring it all down around him just to stick it to and ultimately end the life of the man responsible for providing said life in the first place, on top of that individual being the most beloved Power character in James St. Patrick aka Ghost was the 1-2 punch fans would never let him live down.
Fast forward to Ghost, now alone with no parents or mentors around him, the weight of all his bad decisions was like a dark crown on his head as this young man stood ready to face perhaps his ultimate challenge, college. No longer having a financially secure safety net Tariq went from being unrelatable to too relatable now finding himself having to adjust to what even his most ardent detractors called normal, making a way out of no way. Running around Standsfield like a chicken with his head cut off getting to and from classes, taking difficult courses, dealing with dorm life and the starting some very complicated romantic relationships. In this way he now became just like the fans watching(likely more than they cared to admit) and because he was all alone doing so, that dark crown showed to be at it's heaviest when the constant obstacles arising stemmed from killing his father. I think these obstacles would come to feel like a level of catharsis each week for fans who needed so desperately to see this kid actually pay for his actions. The ripple effects of killing Ghost show in everything he does haunting him, proving why naming the show 'Ghost' was yet another stroke of genius by Courtney Kemp.

The first time I remember seeing Patricia was when she played on the NBC prime time drama SISTERS💜I fell in love with that whole cast!!! Ashliegh Judd, Swoozie Kirts, Patricia Calembo and so many more great actors!!! U guys should UA-cam some of the clips

Real tho, I wasn’t sure how I felt about Riq, as a person/actor but after this interview and hearing them open up about certain things, changed my mind. I’m about 3/4 of the way through, I think he’s dope now. It’s hard for me to like an actor if I don’t like them as a person.
