  • Hey guys, Gravin here🎈.
    I have been using this double pedal for three years.
    It's hard to play for a long time at high speeds.
    The test nearly broke my leg,(this is a joke😆)
    300bpm is rrrreally hard for me.

    ✨I hope you guys enjoy this video,see you next time!
    这副双踩我已经用了快三年了,
    用600演奏240bpm以上的速度还是挺吃力的,
    这期测试有点像是断腿挑战,
    290、300bpm对我来说还是太难上去了。

    I really love the Iron Cobra besides the speed, it’s also one of them easiest pedals to clean, maintain, and upgrade the bearings!

    Great double bass playing man, you really push those iron cobra to the limit, btw, i noticed you used the trick drive shaft, how better it is compared to the tama drive shaft? is it worth it?

      Sorry if this is not who you are looking for. But from what I can tell yea, it makes the second pedal a lot quicker in the likes of matching the speed of the first one. Also depends on where you live, yes where you live can affect the value

      I have experiences, that on iron cobra's pedals those drive shafts would break after some time. I had two iron cobra's and on both it happened

      I use Pearl Z-Link,changing the drive shaft can really change the feel , bringing more rebound.

      I replaced my PG-900 Iron Cobra driveshaft with the TRICK PV-16 driveshaft. I was able to immediately play everything a lot cleaner, and my BPM went up instantly because I wasn't trying to fight against the "slop" or "latency" in the left pedal. I came from true double bass where you don't have to worry about a driveshaft, so I REALLY noticed the solid, smooth feel of the TRICK. If you upgrade to the TRICK, you will not EVER want to go back to a regular drive shaft, my friend. Happy double-kickin' it!!!

    That is freaking insane!!!!! Hey Gavin, would you be able to get faster with a different pedal? If so, what one? I use Speed Cobras and find them awkward. Thinking about going black to the Iron Cobras or DW5000. Your thoughts?

    Hello, Can you tell me more about yours pedal settings for 180-220 bpm? And even, how long it took for you to be able to play 200bpm

    • @gravinblaster
      @gravinblaster  2 роки тому +10

      Hello friends. (My English is not good so I use Google Translate) There's nothing special about my pedal setting, I just gradually pull the spring tighter as I practice, allowing the muscles to adapt to the tension of the spring. Now my springs are always in the tightest state, which gives me more rebound. 200bpm is a difficult phase in my opinion, and I probably used it for about half a year from 180bpm-200bpm

    Hi, friend, I am thinking of buying double bass pedal, I have two options between the IC 600 and the dw 3002, I want speed, would you recommend the IC 600 as the best buy?

    • @gravinblaster
      @gravinblaster  2 роки тому +3

      Hello friend! Personally, if you use the swivel technique like I do, I'd recommend buying IC 600. I think dw 3002 would be better suited to the heel-up technique.

    Have you tried adding the Cobra Coil on these pedals? It's a spring that makes the board bounce back faster. I'm thinking about it but I don't know if it's worth it.

      If you're just learning to play double pedals, I'd probably go for DW. Iron Cobras are quite heavy pedals. I've been struggling to get past 160bpm with Iron Cobra 600's, though my technique isn't that great yet.

    De nada sirve alcanzar mucha velocidad , si lo estamos haciendo mal y nos perdemos con respecto a la claqueta.

      Calladito mejor compañero, las últimas fases eran solo demostrativas. Pone claramente que está "intentando" tocar a esas velocidades que están prácticamente más allá del límite humano ya. Tu comentario sobra.

    Sloppy asf, you fell apart after 210. Stick to what you can actually play.
    You can have the most expensive kicks in the world, but if you don't practice, you're not going to get anywhere.

      Fact is, these are NOT the most expensive kicks at all. So dude just showed us, that he can play great on almost every pedal, which is, i think, respectful
