River Flying July 2022

Our ROLO (rise off, land on) Water Flyer group got together for more rubber powered free flight model airplane action.
One flying out of a kayak and the other three flying from an 18' pontoon boat.
We made it to the river early while the wind was down and left by 10am as the wind picked up.
On the very first flight the 40in span Ford 8-ATS was treed - not enough turn. You can see it in background 45sec into the video. The model was retreived later in the morning without damage.
