      Greetings from the FUTURE guys! Wow... Sean, Simon and Jamie all in one place! Thanks for this video, Sean, it is so needed!!! It has been a struggle for me (a Canadian, stuck for decades in Michigan USA.) There are SOME people here who are out n out mean-spirited and all about "Amurican Rights!". But I've been INCREDIBLY lucky compared to some and now we are having a resurgence and my bills are being paid. For people like Simon, here, and Thomas Heaton, at least landscape photographers can social distance a lot more easily as long as they are allowed to travel SOME distance on their own. I had to furlough earlier in the year and although I didn't see this video of Sean's then, I found it useful to do some of the things he mentions here. I pretty much HATE my 9-5 job and during furlough I was able to think things through and reevaluate my life and create a plan. So, I hope that all of you guys and your partners are going into the holiday season with a little more confidence that we are figuring it out. Here in the US Trump is finally on his way out... a godsend right there! Cheers, everyone!!!

    Sean,
    I haven't been able to get to your video until today, but I've known that it was going to be special. I wanted to give it the necessary space to breathe as I watched it, avoiding the temptation of it being drowned out by other things competing for my attention. Beautifully done! Regardless of vocation a shepherd's heart is to take care of his flock. It's abundantly clear that your desire is for wholeness of those whom you influence. Always love to hear your voice and even if we never meet face to face I am glad to have you shape my perspective. Both of photography and of life.

    A very elegant presentation. One of the things that I appreciate about your videos is the constant voice of humanity. You always give respect and care to the people who wander into your street shots, and the photographers who you sometimes highlight and interview seem to share that with you. Finding a balance between distancing and interaction is everybody's goal at the moment, but it seems that many photographers have been practicing it whenever they take their camera out on the streets.

    My brother-in-law suggested a movie on Netflix, Big Little Town, or something like that. It is about a couple who bought an abandoned farm north of Los Angeles. The cinematography is ridiculous and the story very heartening. You will laugh, cry, stare in wonder and be inspired. Thanks for this video, Preacher. That is how I refer to you and your videos when I speak with friends. Wise words and common sense approach to living through this challenge. I am a fire fighter in Canada and have to go to work and work overtime, to cover for those who need to isolate, as well as have become the grocery getter for my parents and my father-in-law. • @christianfritschi9741
      @christianfritschi9741 4 роки тому +1

      @IrishPsquared you seem to be hanging on to mine. I 'm currently watching your hero's task force. More lies, exaggerations antagonisms with state governors... This Moron is supposed to be the leader of the Free World...? He is surrounded with ex Deutsche Bank crooks, the revolving door at DB which is still propping him up. And now the cherry on the sunday Debby Vos... What a circus! Is it too much to admit the ROW is laughing and all you got is the biggest helpless army in the world. All the MAGA hats left in the Red states are not going to protect you from COVID-19. The Idiot in Chief says he inherited an "empty shelf". Ask yourself: how can you have a shelf full of COVID-19 tests, when the virus wasn't even known before it hit China. You should be learning from China instead of bashing them. But, I guess discussing this may be beyond your intellectual level. In which case you should remember what the 1st Amendment is all about... unless of course, the 2nd amendment comes first for you 🙃
      Do you really think amassing troops at our border is going to protect you from C-19?

    • @christianfritschi9741
      @christianfritschi9741 4 роки тому +1

      @IrishPsquared Dear Mick or whatever your real name is, I hope you didn't lose too much sleep last night waiting for a response. I'd like to remind you you're the one who attacked me when I was only making the point that just about anybody can be more presidential than the "Very Stable Genius" you elected. So as far as I'm concerned, you can carry on bringing false arguments to the table and making assumptions about my real intentions. Looking from up here, you do look like a country in complete disarray. Higher case numbers and lethality than China as we speak and you're very far from riding a flattening curve.
      I don't blame Trump for all of it, just most of it. The last thing he would have wanted is the current financial situation. After all he is a product of the corrupt financial sphere and beholden to the Russian money via the Deutsche Bank Laundromat. His lovely hotels and branded real estate are taking a beating. Ivanka and her Robot boyfriend must both be totally downtrodden. DJT is responsible for further dividing your country, completely mismanaging the crisis and that will define his pseudo-presidency. But he'll have lots of time to mull this over once the Repubs will have been wiped off the electoral map and a new DOJ is in place, and he sits in jail waiting for the trial of the century. Where's my Roy Cohn, he will lament. A lot of his cronies are already in jail or facing jail time. Michael Cohen himself said he was a mob boss and he should know. Just Google "Trump and Mob ties". But I'm sure you already know all that and are just turning a blind eye because you are way too proud to say you made a mistake voting for this society reject who actually never thought he would be elected. He was as surprised as all the pundits on TV. And certainly completely unprepared. If it hadn't been for Moscow Mitch, Nunes, Richard Burr, Jim Jordan, Grassley, Kennedy, Alexander, Lindsey Graham et al, he would have been impeached in his first year in office or taken down under section 4 of the 25th amendment.
      As far as placing troops at our border, when asked about it at a presser I was watching, his answer was "...we've got troops at our Southern border, we want to be fair. There's lots of Chinese dumping going on via Canada..." I guess your heavily armed ICE officials are totally inept at controlling the steady flow of low-cost aluminum, and Chinese goods entering your Northern border. Who would have thought ?
      Tomorrow, he'll probably venture the notion of a 9,000km fence to separate Canada from the US and that Canadians will pay for it, while you guys are still waiting for Mexican pesos to pay for your non-existent Mexico Wall. You say you are proud of this Very Stable Genius Wannabe ? Wow, well I wonder where that leaves you...
      BTW, the last time your troops set foot on our soil, all that were left of them as they went scurrying back were yellow traces in their boxers. That would have been October 26th 1813 at the Battle of the Châteauguay. That is if you have an attention span a little longer than your infamous leader. But I know that they hardly teach you History and Geography in school, so I'm not surprised if you encourage an incursion. After all, it is only one's knowledge of history that can prevent a silly repeat of that historical debacle.
      BTW, I'd like to "compliment" you on that "wonderful" 5 second video on your UA-cam channel. Very "inspiring". Or is it there only as a way to gain access to the comment section from which to assault other commentors. Come to think of it, maybe you are a little troll working from the offices of the IRA in Leningrad...
      Let me know if you'd like another lesson in American geo-politics ;))

    From the bottom of my heart thank you Sean, I needed this reminder, it is not about politics anymore, and it never was, it is about us, helping, loving and supporting each other.International mass-media is going crazy right now, I am not saying that is not a real situation, a real fact, but the level of anxiety that we are facing is over the roof.My humble oppinion is that we are in God's hands and we need to pray for us, for our loved ones and for everybody and let the hate aside because we do not have time for that.God bless all of us ! Love your videos !

    I am hopeful. I think it is a tragedy but good things will come out of this.... bringing the world together, reminding people what is important in life. Let it bring out the best in us and not the worst. Thank you Sean for your insights.

    Appreciate you putting this out it will be a comfort to many to hear some perspectives lacking in the daily news - your words are heartfelt and wise-
    As a further comparison to whats happening right now, most people are unaware each year that some 23,000 or more in uk are victims of flu and pneumonia these arent reported with such depth and pins on a map with daily counts - the anxiety of all this weighs heavy on us all but as you say we need to stay strong so we can be there for those in need.
