Loved seeing all the Xmas lights and going round the shops. Can’t believe how dear things were . That bus company need sorting out. What a shame to have a good day spoiled by that. I’m glad you had a good day out. Xx
OOOh thanks Fiona for a lovely visit to the shops. we have costco here as well, and they do have some gorgeous christmas things for sale, but they are very expensive. I love going to have a look, and usually spend more than I expected, but don't we all. I love the bakery section as well. My Christmas shopping is going quite well, I only have a few bits and pieces to go, and I have wrapped half of the gifts I have bought. Hope you are all well and staying warm and cosy. Glad that your Mum's bus fiasco worked out ok. Those bus drivers are now on the naughty list. 🎄🎄🎄
Haha they certainly are on the naughty list- I'll be having a word with Santa to make sure they get coal in their stockings 🤣. I didn't realise Costco was in Australia too! The bakery is sooo good haha. You're right about the prices though, a lot of it is very expensive. I've finished my shopping now but not even started wrapping 😒 🙃. Take care and enjoy your lovely sunshine x
It is funny that when I see a video from you and a different country, I expect things to be different. But they really aren’t. The holiday lights and decorations look the same , the stores the same . The food is different but I do see some of the same fast food places as here in the states. We all want to celebrate using the same things for the most part. I did enjoy seeing Glasgow and all of their lights and decorations. It did look very busy though. That is probably a good thing for the shops and all. Looking forward to Blogmass.
That's very true Sally! Most things are the same but with a twist! Places aren't looking quite as festive as they normally do here this year, probably due to rising costs unfortunately. Yes, everywhere is so busy at this time of the year and it does take away some of the enjoyment x
Granny Annie was quite right telling them that she wasn't swapping buses, what an awful end to their weekend. John Lewis don't have their outside Christmas lights this year and it looks so dull, great video Fiona thanks for sharing x
Yes it was a horrible end to the trip but they still enjoyed it. They certainly won't book with them again though haha. I never noticed that John Lewis didn't have their outside lights. A lot of places are cutting back on the lights this year, and it's probably down to cost like everything else! Thanks Christine x
Hearing about the prices on things I'm satisfied window shopping with you 😆 I do miss the days when shopping malls and towns were all lit up all christmasy, people saying hi to total strangers and striking up a conversation about all things Christmas 🎄 Great vlog again Fiona, and let your mum know I probably would have had to be bailed out over the bus change fiasco 🤣 🤗
Haha my mum certainly gave them a piece of her mind 🤣. We still get a lot of Christmas cheer here, but mostly in the small towns and villages. People in the city tend to be a bit more short tempered lol. The mall lights are definitely not as festive as they used to be, but it's probably down to cost like most things now unfortunately 😕. Thanks Marcy x
The decorations at Costco are so lovely last time we went they didn’t have the mickey and Minnie nutcrackers love looking around the Christmas markets but some of them can be really expensive
I loved looking round Costco and the Christmas market with you and jack everything looks beautiful you would need a lot of money to buy it all I'm sorry to hear that your mum had problems with the bus tour company glad your mum's cousin got her stuff back
Hi Fiona was lovely to see the lights in Glasgow 😍, I don't like it if it's to busy either, I see youv got the cricut joy and the bigger one I want to get one what would you say was the best ? Do you use both? Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Yeah some of the lights were lovely! I use both cricuts but I prefer the joy. I only use the explore for bigger projects which I don't do very often, or print then cut. I think the new Joy might have that feature now but I'm not sure x
I never noticed in real life so you must be super observant spotting him in the video haha. He's in panto in Glasgow just now so was probably having a wander before going on stage!
@ I had to pause it as he went passed, bc I wasn’t sure if it was him or not. Hope ur December is good and that ur present shopping and wrapping is going well
Myself & niece were booked with that company unfortunately here in Greenock we were snowed in couldnt make it to paisley to meet bus phoned loch Lomond travel to see as a gesture of goodwill could we get moved to a different date but no we just had to lose our money as a pensioner I was really disappointed at them I'll certainly think twice about booking with them again 😢
Oh no, what a shame! They definitely don't seem to be a very customer focused company which is bad, especially since they're just starting out! My mum and her friends would definitely not book with them again either x
