I agree, it shouldve carried on the star crossed lovers from 74 and evolved as THE STAR CROSSED MOTHERS. in fact I think she shouldve been the one yo get Wiress and Beetee out as Katniss and Johanna teaming up was so unbelievable as they hated each other. Also besides Katniss (through her fake pregnancy) she was the only other tribute confirmed to be a parent. The Capitol would've lapped this story up 9f two mothers teaming up and trying to get through the games together, knowing thst only 1 (in retrorespect) would get back home alive. She'd have been a much bigger asset to Katniss in district 13 especially as the first rebel propaganda film was shot in her district. I can see her being protective over Prim as well due to Prims young age and maybe stopped Coin from making Prim go on front line to die
I feel like she should have gotten at least some lines in the interview or the reaping bc it was said in the books her three children were clinging on to her as she was getting carried away
