According to my Danish acquaintance , who is a friend of Queen Mary's , they are very happy together and are still deeply in love with one another after 24 years together since they met in 2000.Frederik describes ot as a miracle that he met the love of his life in the Slip In on 16th September 2000. Only it is not just a miracle . It is more than that. I t was by Divine Intervention . God led them together because they complemented each other in so many ways -Intelligence Professional training, Hobbies , Music , Sport , love of the natural world , Green issues , but most of all for their deep love and commitment to one another and to their childre,n.
King Frederik grew up on the top floor of Amalienborg Palace , and never saw his parents, being brought up by nannies and servants. What has given him stability in his private life is the unconditional love that Queen Mary has given to Frederik and the Royal children.
