I'm waiting for the day when I can input pages of manga and previous anime episodes with voice actors and soundtrack and sound effects and have it spit out new episodes of that anime with the original voice actors all based on the new chapters of manga that I scan in. We may be just a couple of years from that point

The fact that the image/ visual is square makes it totally unusable for now. This was also the case with the unavailable competitors. (The EMO stuff is still better, but not open to public yet.) To make good videos, you need at least a movie ratio like 16:9.
At 7:04 the voice says to check or search Aros in the voice library for other voices. How do you do this to find other voices to use. ( Just getting started with my education to AI ) Thank you.

This tech could be great for movies that need to heavily de-age an actor or re-animate a deceased person. Unfortunately it does seem like it will eventually put some vfx teams out of work that accomplish the same thing with 3d models. This tech looks like it is probably 1/100 or 1/1000th the cost of an entire vfx team dedicated to shots involving de-aging or even re-animated deceased actors. Pretty crazy.

Hedra often works quite nice, but the more something it's supposed to look like a doll, the weirder it looks. It should adjust more for age, weight and non-human characteristics - I mean through a prompt.
I'm not sure if Hedra is based on Hallo, but I've been experimenting with Hallo recently. The result is kind of mixed bag. It has potential, but there's a lot of issue that needs to be fix. Whenever I put green chromakey in the background, it immediately deteriorate and becomes unusable. The mouth movement gets weird sometime and it really depends on what photo you use. While technically unlimited length, the longer it renders, the more it gets messed up. It's promising, I'm hoping to see an improvement soon, but it's a great start.
Imagine not needing to sign in and give up data, but then you would be asked to pay in money, not in personal information, but of course that is wrong, you will give up financial information. I will just look and keep going, and say hi to a real person on my walk.
When I first saw VASA 1 I said to myself the greatest day in the history of A.I will be when this is released to the public. .but it looks like Hedra comes a close second!

I am looking forward to the day that I can use an Avatar of myself in Zoom, with real time live audio, being able to replace my webcam capture and audio while doing face to face meetings. (simply replacing my webcam image , working in VR using IMMERCED without appearing on my webcam with HMD on my face. appearing normal to my audience) Maybe the technology already exist?
I'm just waiting for someone to finally be able to realistically recreate the lost classic Doctor Who episodes that were wiped. I've seen people attempt to add the audio to bts photos and tele-snaps using AI but it was months and months ago. I can't find anything that has been attempted with the recent tech released.
Hedra is pretty cool. I have to rethink my time with tools like IClone and Omniverse, as I think in the near future we won't need digital content creation tools. I had to check a box to say I am not in Texas. I also had to fabricate (sounds better than lie) that the image is me. I realize they don't want to be sued, but an AI image doesn't care if you use its likeness.

With IClone 7 I spent a bunch of time writing python scripts, then in IClone 8 they all break, without any help converting. Their devs are Chinese, so while brilliant, lost of things are lost in translation.
The eyelids get often messed up when blinking and it's quite noticeable. Btw it won't work well with v-shaped Asian faces e.g: the anime characters or any other v-shaped Asian face. Tried this with my girlfriend's face and now I'm getting nightmares. I guess the AI was trained mostly on Western style faces, paintings and images.
In all of these models so far, the teeth change shape and size when they are talking. To me it is both extremely obvious and super creepy. Especially when coupled with these voices that are also slightly the wrong side of the uncanny valley.
A year ago this was not possible, of course there are issues, it's very easy to criticise, can you develop anything remotely close to this ? NO. You clearly do not understand the complexity of all the movements. Take the teeth you harp on about. The AI has to basically guess, because it has nothing to go on, so when the mouth moves it has to predict where and how the teeth look, not easy. Be thankful you can even access this and I'll tell you the only reason you can, to improve and train the AI. The tech, be it animation, music is being fine tuned, that's requires vast amounts of data, we basically provide that data by using it. Once they have the data and some huge coporate body buys it, you're not getting anywhere close to it. Do you seriously think movie studios will allow ordinary people to make decent films and take away their revenue. They will wait til the tech is mature and buy it, same for music etc enjoy it while you can and quite money because in 5 years then you'll really have a reason to moan.

You should try prompting "Chinese woman in her early 20s with brown hair". And change Chinese to Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc. They all look exactly the same. It's pretty amusing. But in all fairness, you get the same result if you tried "American woman" vs "British woman".

It's pretty useless, actually, because none of them look like actually talking people who talk like talking people. None of the faces transport any feelings and head movement doesn't actually match most of the time. Eyebrow movement isn't there at all, which turns everyone into zombies. For what it's supposed to be doing it's just as crap as all the others.

It's pretty useless, actually, because none of them look like actually talking people who talk like talking people. None of the faces transport any feelings and head movement doesn't actually match most of the time. Eyebrow movement isn't there at all, which turns everyone into zombies. For what it's supposed to be doing it's just as crap as all the others.
