    Thank you, Emily! I often forget about my Russian tips (I think I have them all 😆). This is a good reminder for me that they are a beautiful way to decorate.

    I purchased Russian tips awhile ago, and they sit in my baking closet because I am too intimidated to use them😂 I will have to pull them out and give them another try! How do you get that gorgeous coral color buttercream, and do you have a buttercream recipe to share? Thank you so much! Love your videos ❤

      I did the same thing! I have used them twice now, and I find that as long as I use her 4 minute buttercream (without the milk, as she states in her other Russian tips video ) and follow these suggestions all goes well. Just go for it, you will surprise yourself!

      I'm the same way, I've used mine twice & first time was a fail. Second time was better and they were pretty but they intimidate me. They really are so pretty & I need to use them more.

    I'm new at this! How do you put the Russian tips on the bag? I literally just started piping today! I have a pack of Russian piping tips.

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes  3 місяці тому +1

      Great question! Drop the Russian piping tip into the bag and push it down to the end. Use a pair of scissors to score around the piping tip about half way up the piping tip. Then push the piping tip out of the way and cut along the line you scored. This will cut off a little triangle from the end of the piping bag. It will make a hole the perfect size for the Russian piping tip! When you drop the tip back into the bag, half of the piping tip should be sticking out of the end so it is snug and secure.
