I've heard mixed reviews on Carthusia! I tried Corallium by them and I wanted to try Capri. I like that u mention having a perfume spray vs a dabber tester, because sometimes having a dabber has completely ruined a scent for me! 😵💫 Great review! I sent you a lil sample of a perfume called Mentha, a mint scent! I hope you love it Sarah!💝 Dont be afraid of being 100% honest if you wind up hating it lol, I just love hearing your reviews on scents!🤗
I have a bottle of this and love it! You reminded me to wear it more often :) I see where you get grape bubblegum but I mostly get a sweet rose with coffee and vanilla. It's very similar to Montale Intense Cafe to me. Not exact dupes but definitely similar.
Hi there! A lot of people are saying Intense Cafe and I can definitely see that when sniffing from the sample. On my skin it gets very very sweet and goes grape bubblegum. It’s so strange. 🥰❤️
@@SarahMayes Have you tried Unique'e Istanbul? That is straight up grape bubblegum to me! It dries down to almost a smoky cotton candy but the opening is very grape bubblegum!
Great review! I’ve not heard too many people talk about Carthusia. I bought Fiori di Capri, when I was in Capri, and it is mostly white floraIs. I need to give it some more attention, I have kind of forgotten about it. I love your description of grape bubblegum, sounds like a fun fragrance. 😘🥰💗🌸
Good morning Sarah: I have this fragrance. Yes, I get grape bubble gum only at the opening, but then my skin pulls a nutty coffee the remainder of it's life. I enjoy this fragrance, when I remember to reach for it. Unfortunately it gets buried behind all the others so I don't see the bottle. But, I decided to make it my SOTD today. I do enjoy it!
Do you own Florence by Swiss Arabian? Do me a favor and try it side by side with Terra Mia - or even Montale's Intense Cafe...They are all very, very similar. I own all three...I do love Terra Mia. Its the drier, kind of idk more natural version of Intense Cafe...It IS like sitting in a vineyard in southern Italy or France and drinking a latte. Maybe there are some flowers growing around the Villa where you are sitting and it is a warm, dry day - You can smell the flowers, the coffee, maybe the grapes sunning on the vine...Yeah. Its unique for sure! But, it certainly puts you somewhere very specific and it is a powerhouse scent.
Hello! Carthusia is lovely Italian house. I would love to hear more of your thoughts. The scent that I can't put down is Derek Lam 10 Crosby A Hold On Me. In a bright yellow bottle. I was blown away and there are only two notes listed. -Lindita

I expect the grape bubblegum thing was mainly down to the white florals. Comes up all the time with tuberose.

Carthusia is a very interesting brand. I have Gelsomini di Capri (2017) and this is wonderful! Terra Mia is on my wish list 🙂
It could be that the florals pull really strong on your skin 😊 Or sometimes weather brings out different nuances of the perfume
Fiori di capri is my absolute fave and you should also read the story of the perfume ☺️

My skin pulls musk, and I only realized this after a bought a full bottle. Sad.
Please, see if there is a sticker on the bottom of the bottle and the serial number on it. I think I bought a fake.
Oh no! 😭 I only have the little sample that I picked up from Lucky Scent so I am not sure what the actual bottle looks like.
