I've never actually tried to transfer a Dino, but for example my main is on the Island map. If I make a new character on Scorched Earth and tame a Jerboa or something, would I be able to download that Jerboa on my main character or would I have to keep the one from Scorched Earth?
if you watched the video you see I'm not the same guy that pulls it out as the one that put it in. but at this time I really don't know as wildcard keeps changing things and I'm on ps4 and haven't got the latest update yet

hello, I know this has probably been answered already, but I have a few questions since I have just started playing this game on console. I play on xbox one and I was wondering If you can transfer the items and dinos from single player to dedicated local server on one of my other Xbox's acting as the server. I tried doing it and none of my items are showing at the obelisk. i'm looking to be able to play privately with friends and my wife without the tether issue. please help. haven't been able to find a specific video on it.
so I would have to run another dedicated server on our second xbox and then it could only transfer from that one to another dedicated? is that correct?
I joined in on another friend's non dedicated on center to help tame a giga and brought over an argy and dire wolf. Transferred in, everything went well, uploaded once again at trop South Island and went back to my own non dedicated (island). Downloaded survivor successfully, ran to red ob, downloaded my argy, and didn't see/hear it so I closed the ob and tried to look around but couldn't find it. Decided to download the dire wolf to see what would happen and it immediately downloaded. On Xbox one quitting the game usually doesn't save progression so I quit the game to hopefully get my argy back. Spawned in once again and went to the ob to find neither in the on or anywhere around it, dire wolf disappeared. Any idea what to do?
i had a wyvern disappear on download. only things you can do is contact wildcard through forums or just spawn in a new one. or tame a new one. though with it being non dedicated I don't believe wildcard will do anything. quiting game saves. closing app loads last save point. sorry but they're gone for good
Also if it wasn't clear, I quit the app and did not exit so is the uploaded data separate from the actual save? I don't see why my character is reverted and I have to spawn it in every time but the games are not

you should be able to at obelisk. wildcard making that the only way to transfer. are the 2 servers the same type? and or did you leave in obelisk over 24 hours?
I can’t transfer out of this one server I joined. Like I can hover over the option “join with survivor” but when I click it , it won’t let me join ANY server. Anybody know why ? Can someone help me ? I’ve never had this problem before leaving a server.

I haven't had that happen to me. I've transfered like 30 dino's. so I can't help you there. best I can say is look it up on youtube. sorry I couldn't be much help :)

You can if it's allowed. But right now there's an issue with transfers. Lost a 225 wyvern I uploaded on island and doesn't show up for download no matter the map I'm on

only you can get them out. but on player dedicated and official servers you only have 24 hours to get them back out

no. it would have to be from another dedicated server to be able to transfer

yes. dedicated can only transfer to another dedicated. local to another local, and official to another official
they are all different types of servers and can only transfer to the same type. as long as downloads and uploads are allowed in settings
