Their love and family is just as real as you and your husband's.When you use a term like "loving coupleship" it is an insult and denotes a sense of superiority you place on straight relationships over lesbian relationships. I can assure our love and relationships are every bit as valid and committed as your own with your husband. Please be more thoughtful and aware of these kinds of comments in the future because words matter.
Many years ago I watched a UA-cam video of the Indigo Girls singing Don't Think Twice, It's Alright and there was a girl singing with them who caught my attention because she just had that "something". At the end of the song I heard them introduce her as "Brandi" so I immediately started to look up any and all of her videos. Thus began my love affair with this amazing human being. I am so proud of her.
