The demonetization bug is slowing video releases down! I'm trying to keep up guys; it will get done soon enough. Don't forget to enter the Diagnostic Scanner Giveaway!
Samcrac just finished the last vid so it's all good.
The anchor tentionar is the seat belt buckle !!
Samcrac I still don't quite understand what demonitization is doing.
there were ads on this one when I watched it...
Samcrac I love the videos thank you I could really use the scanner please
Why were the chickens under the car?? Because they flew the coupe!! LOL Thanks! I'm here all week, and don't forget to tip your servers!
I've been getting tired of the typical youtube stuff and this channel has been such a breath of fresh air. Keep the videos coming!
I live in the USA.
Watching you over the months have made you gone more hands on with my projects savings me a few hundreds so far. Thanks for the encouragement!!!
I gotta say, you got me when you said the scanner detected chickens under the car 😂😂.
Samcrac Chicken Detector (TM)
Thanks for sharing your DXP project. I appreciate the details you're showing. The scan tool would help a lot as I have three teenage drivers and I help them with maintenance. I am looking forward to the completed project.
I stumbled upon your videos by accident, you just happened to be in my suggested videos. But I instantly fell in love. So easy to follow along. Your videos are made so well and they make me wanna go by a totaled car and fix it hahah.
Literally have a dominos ad right above this video
CrazedSymptoms me too
Wow
Same here
ads are for suckers
Bigmatt 503 ikr get youtube red
Pizza side impact airbags! Awesome!
Whoever told you to shut up obviously is a know it all. I love the amount of detail you put into your videos and there have been times where I've learned something new! Thank you.
I really enjoy these videos. It seems I learn something new with each video. It seems you have answered a question I had with regards to fixing the airbag system on a wrecked car. Keep posting the excellent content.
We do rebuilds for a living. Airbag connectors melt on most Japanese cars usually. Chevy also does . They can be carefully taken apart and you can take out the pins separately and just buy the plastic connectors. This is probably the most annoying part about airbags other than changing modules in impossible places
Peter M I was about to say the same thing
Also, very few cars don't require the module to be reset. He's going probably going to need to ship it out.
BelayaIvanka1 Chevy only needs the code to be cleared usually
Peter M you may be right, can't say for sure. I deal with mostly Japanese cars. Honda's, Toyota's
I really find the pizza car interesting and I like the videos they hold really good information thank you for your videos
I'm learning a lot from this because I just bought a salvage car and I am fixing it up. So thanks for being so detailed!
I worked on a '15 Jeep compass a few months ago with a front end collision like this. Both driver and passenger airbags had melted connectors like this, NOT FUN!! Great stuff keep the videos coming I'm loving this series!
SRS system stands for Supplemental Restraint System.
CrazyRoadblock, thank you. I came here just for this...lol "Safety Restraint System" is not a thing!
Yes, thank you, I was going to type it if I couldn't find it, luckily you took the words right out of my mouth. It's not that saying it wrong bugs me, it's that some people would repeat it. Like "Cadillac converters". We just say whatever and refuse to learn, America!
Thanks so much for taking the time to record all of this. Great content and results!
Love the work you're doing. I'm so glad I stumbled on to your page. I love receiving a message that you posted a new video. Keep up the great work.
perfect timing on the readers!! i was looking into getting one my self. got a little more information on a reader that i will need. Thanks!
Kudos for explaining how intricate (and necessary) those SRS repairs are.
Love these pizza car videos, even though the company doesn't!
I’m learning so much from your videos, thank you so much for doing what you do, without the instruction word for word and step by step I wouldn’t know how to do so much of the stuff I know. Thank you again!!
I’m born in the USA, live in the USA, eat pizza in the USA, and (most importantly) drive a car in the USA. Been loving the Dxp videos and that scope would help me with my own car. Keep doing what you’re doing brother and I promise to rewatch every video I don’t see ads on until I get pitched to so that you can.
I like all the extra information, it shows everything you have to do for these repairs and it's just good to know.
Code C0002: Two chickens under vehicle.
I freaking love these videos, and I want to be one of those people that says you DO NOT talk to much. I absolutely love the details of your vids, please keep up the good work Sam!
Thank you for sharing and for the free giveaway. Looking at getting a damaged van and your expertise has really helped me decide whats the best avenue to take. Keep up the good work.
Hey samcrac didn't listen to the haters, I love hearing you talk
Can’t wait till he finishes the dxp car. And It can drive
I love the fact that you talk and give up as much information as you do… Most other content creators are just hitting you with way too much time lapsing… You rock
Excellent explanation on the system - i did a vw golf mk v and i replaced the clockspring due to the blown steering wheel airbag
My chicken is running lean; will that code reader help? Also, where do I plugin that device in case I dont want to be sued by a chick for harassment?
GeriatricJerrycan just plug in under tha dash, chicks, well not cool chicks, wont know what it is. Lol. Jk
I’m going to sound really annoying but SRS stands for Supplemental Restraint System. Don’t hate me lol!!
NO You're right thanks for correcting! I'm sure I said safety!
@Samcrac Thanks for being cool about it! I don’t want to be “that guy”
Mr.Automotive
I hate you lol.
I was thinking to myself. "Is that the acronym?"
SRS Somthing Really Stupid to point out. No I don mean that I appreciate knowing the real meaning as I usually quote this dude every time I talk shop. Samcrac is all knowing and a really cool guy (I live chatted recently) maybe on this channel SRS should stand for Some Real Solutions!
I love these videos! The pizza car is so interesting and I, for one, love the fact that you explain everything! It lets me know exactly what is happening and why!
I'm really enjoying this build. Getting an education in salvaged vehicles at the same time. I registered on Copart for the first time this week to bid on a car to try and repair myself.
This is video makes me think.... do chickens like pizza?
I was thinking more on the lines of ordering chicken on my pizza.
TacoTom buffalo chicken pizza Rocks!!
Chickens favorite food is pizza just like most humans!
ua-cam.com/video/uY1o52d56OY/v-deo.html
alex seppala bbq chicken>
They f-ing love pizza
where is the chicken sensor mounted?
CarGuy I was thinking the same thing now I want fried chicken
Great info on SRS systems. I have a leaky Passat that has a light on myself. Looking forward to watching this build and you getting that rare bird back on the road.
I love my ELM327 and Torque. I've used it for years as well and has helped me with fixing my own and others cars
What happens when you clear the chickens under the car code lol
MrEricxxx it takes either 3 starts with no chickens present or doing the GM driving cycle to get the CEL to turn off...
SRS stands for supplemental restraint system.
Love these rebuild videos, they have been inspiring me to work on my car. Keep up the videos!
Your videos are so informative. I enjoy hearing about copart and all your projects and tool recommendations.
I love pizza and cars so i love watching this and id love to have a scanner
I actually don't mind the influx of info you give us. People just need to learn to skip ahead to the "good" parts lol
Even though just today I found your channel I've already binged quite a lot. Keep up the great content. Good luck with the Dominoes pizza car!
Awesome video! I never realized how intricate these SRS systems are!!
Love your videos Samcrac, your formart is very easy to follow and very informational. The scanner would be a plus in my work with repairing family & friends vehicles. Keep up the good work!
Keep it going, sincerely MotorHead Tech👌, i also use VAG COM, but idk if it works for the chevy, but it works for my Audi
VAG com is only for VAG brand cars (Audi, Skoda, VW, etc..)
I don't know if VCDS has a generic OBD-II mode or not. I'd have look at mine... I know my Techstream for Toyota has a generic OBD-II mode...
It does but is limited. The best cheap bet is the Torque app. The $5-10 bluetooth readers work on 70% cars. The one from BAFX works on 99% of cars.
No worries, Sam. Talking is fine. I'm a car newbie and learning a lot from these rebuilt videos. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. It is always nice to get a view from someone that is doing the work.
I am in grave need of a code scanner, my bimmer's turn signals aren't working, I have tried replacing the blinker fluid, and still nothing... I don't know what to do. Help!
Samuel Hartman I see that issue in BMWs all the time! It's very common for BMWs you have this problem. There is an easy fix though. Get a T20 Torx, socket set, and ball peen hammer. The issue is between the driver's seat and the steering wheel.... Use ball peen to remedy.
Samuel Hartman Hit the lights dead in the center with a hammer. That usually works!
Samuel Hartman Go buy one then
Andrew Delashaw I tried this, but for some reason I woke up a day later in a hospital and they wouldn't let me near sharp objects, are there any other solutions you know of?
Awesome videos and content! Keep up the great work! Those code scanners look awesome
Sam my wife has the exact same spark, year and color. I've been following you on your adventure. Keep it going your doing a great job explaining the procedures. It seem that the car is only worth about 6K as it stands but she loves it.
Thanks to you and Topdon for the scanner giveaway. I won Topdon Plus from them and received it yesterday. Its a nice unit. I plugged it into my car, but the car is running well and hasn't thrown any codes.
I love the pizza car videos. Keep them coming. And my Jeep would thank you for the scanner.
New subscriber, got hooked on with the DXP car video been watching since. Love your work.
glad for you
what do you think will happen in the next eppisode
I enjoy the talking. The way you explain everything makes it easily understandable. Keep up the videos.
I may not be a car rebuilder, but i do like repairing and rebuilding computers and electronics, I drive a Spark and find all your advice fascinating
Can the MaxiDiag Elite scan ABS system too? I have ABS light on my jeep compass. Thanks
+Full Throttle yes the Topdon can as well though
+Samcrac thanks
I need a chicken code reader there's always one under my car.
Hey Sam. I really enjoy your videos. I have 3 "reconstructed" vehicles bought from Copart. A 2000 Chrysler Town and Country Limited with AWD that had a light front left hit. A 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with the LT1 engine that needed a front bumper and grill and a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that was a low water flood truck. I'm always borrowing code readers from friends to check things and I currently need one to check the ABS system on the Buick. This reader would be a fantastic and needed addition to my tool box. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the update. Love following along with your rebuild
Looking forward to a warm pizza!
Gotta love pizza insurance.
Thanks for tips on the scanners! One would come in super handy for sure.
I find these videos very interesting and informative. Keep doing what you're doing and how you're doing it! Love the little helpers wandering around there too! I'd love to be considered for your Diagnostic Scanner Giveaway as well; wish me luck!
Hey Sam You are near to 100K Subs Keep It Up!
Keep doing what you doing I like your content
Always great information on your videos. The "commercial breaks" are just a part of UA-cam now. Still worth watching your videos. Great job.
Better checks what that scanner then I expected, Nice job! I use a basic one for my issues, but I have to look up the codes, time for an upgrade
Nice video. Appreciate the adventure.
"ITS WORSE THAN I THOUGHT"
I learned that I like hearing you talk it's very informative and that's why I subscribe to your channel I've learned a lot and hopefully everyone else has learned a lot
Your videos are very informative. I truly do not think you talk excessively at all. I learn a great deal from what you have to say.thank you! I subscribed look forward to seeing future videos.
I would like to win the code reader for my brother. He is a beginner mechanic and loves what he does. I live in the USA
Thanks for the vid!!!
I'd love one of those scanners, I also work on salvage cars and your videos inspire me!
Sam - nice overview of the code scanners. I always thought the first "S" in "SRS" was Supplemental not safety but I'm not in the "biz" so I'm likely wrong. Great info - looking forward to Part 2 with even more chickens!
99% of these commenters are secretly hoping for the scanner
I would love to win a code reader, I always seem to get check engine lights on my truck which sucks lol
Thanks for the great knowledge your sharing. I always enjoy watching knowing I will learn something.
Hey Samcrac I love working on cars and your videos are inspiring me to start rebuilding them
100k sub video--deliver pizzas to random people on the street driving around in the dxp car
Can those scanners alert you to unseen chicken poop?
Since i watch from the first episode of this pizza car i learned many things tq for the education and keep the video coming
live in missouri and really like your videos they have explained a lot thanks
I could use a nice code reader
Another great video!
Keep up the great work, I learn new things watching your videos. I always thought the full system scanners were $1000+
Hopefully I get picked because I really need a reader to fix the family vehicle. .. I love the videos I like the way you thoroughly explain the repairs.
I whould love to win the code reader.
Me too
I need a code reader
I am really enjoying watching you repair this car.
I very much enjoy your explanation on the repairs!
I need a scanner that is chicken detection enabled!!
is rockauto a reliable / safe online website to buy parts from?
I recommend it, as long as you know what parts you need you shouldn't have any problems.
thanks
I order almost everything from rock auto. Good prices, infact. Better prices than 99 percent of the other autoparts stores. Super reliable shipping aswell. Highly recommended
After singing up on copart I found you on UA-cam. I'm going to be bidding on a car here soon and would really love to have a code reader at my disposal when I go check the cars out prior to bidding on them. Thanks for putting out these videos, I've learned quite a bit from you. Keep up the good work! And if you ever need someone to go look at a vehicle in Texas feel free to hit me up!
believe it or not they wont let you check codes
Never would have thought about these issues with srs system. Very interesting
