Winter oilseed rape is the most suitable combinable break crop for a winter crop rotation.
Ireland has a very favourable climate to grow WOSR and grows extremely high yielding crops.
Seedtech prioritise selection of WOSR hybrid varieties with excellent stem stiffness, disease resistance and pod shatter resistance traits. Varieties such as Aurelia (7), Dart ((8)) and LG Aviron ((8)) have excellent light leaf spot resistance on DAFM RL 2024 helping reduce the risk of yield robbing LLS infection.
