I have so much respect for Serena, a lot of women her age would have reacted with jealousy and cattiness, however she understood that if Joe wanted to be with Kendall they would still be together and she had nothing to worry about.. Its so nice to see a young woman her age with that kind of maturity and self confidence..
Yes, Serena is extremely mature for her age, even during Matt's season. Looking back at it I think Serena was far more mature than Matt, she needed a grown man like Joe who knows what he is about.

I was skeptical because of the age difference, but they seem to mesh really well together. Also, I notice that Serena is a nurturing and mature person. She didn't play any games on the beach and made her intentions clear. It could very much go the distance

I think Kendall may have needed to do it for her own closure. And you saw Kendall and Joe still have deep appreciation for one another. And care about one another.
Also, it could have been a good setup for her. For her future next step/journey. Perhaps she’ll be a future bachelorette. On utube there’s speculation of that. If speculation is the right term.
I think if Kendall does become a bachelorette Joe and Serena would certainly support her in that. And I’m sure Kendall would appreciate that.
@@alexandreavandertuin8414 I understand your perspective just feel like if she really wanted to do the closure thing she’d have done it off camera… there was no class in coming down then when Joe was about to propose, it was very selfish. However, you idea has enlightened me as to how the producers could have talked her into it…. By dangling bachelorette in front of her, so I truly appreciate the enlightenment there… and apologize that my take on it is much more skeptical than yours. Thanks. 😄
Yes in the real room world that was certainly not classy. But, when I saw it in the upcoming preview I was like internally off course. OMGosh! That’s SO Bachelor in Paradise! You know how the show and some of the contestants refer to BIP as a different world!? Or not exactly the real world? It’s a Tv show in a resort Island and that part of it that summer is just for them on the show! The show that’s about growing romantically. The show that encourages keeping your options open till the very end. The show that’s all about 2 nd and third chances. And DRAMA. The show had a very predictable ending this summer. Kendall doing what she did may have recruited more viewer curiosity. I’m not saying it’s right. I’m just saying. I’m not surprised. ! Especially now that HARRISON left.

Without question my FAVOURITE "BN" couple of all time. I was enamoured with them from DAY ONE, but did get a little concerned when Serena kissed Thomas on their date. To see Serena come back to Joe immediately after the date ended, did absolutely gladden my heart. I am a 75yo man who loves seeing PEOPLE HAPPY and CARING, and so I truly hope that Serena and Joe's relationship LASTS FOREVER. I ADORE them BOTH. And YES, Serena has a maturity well beyond her years. She additionally has the RIGHT NAME too, as in "SERENE". She is GORGEOUS, LOVELY, BEAUTIFULL, SMART, CARING and DECENT.
