You are not in a fight against nature, you are not here to conquer nature, because there's nothing to conquer. It's all you! So when you use technology to bulldoze everything into submission… you're fighting yourself.” -- voice of Alan Watts. Look him up.
The wheel turns on/but everything remains still/we try in the darkness/to understand the light / don't be afraid and only fear / what doesn't understand you/ The Wheel turns on / but everything remains still/ we shut our eyes as if we don't see/ the old world sinks into an ocean of ideas / where did we want to go/where are we now/ slept too deep to keep on resting/ but we want one thing / if everything changes / but we want one thing / find ourselves again
It sounds like part of an Alan Watts lecture. I'm not sure which one, but if you search UA-cam for 'Alan Watts' you'll turn up a lot of videos. He was a pretty insightful fellow, so I heartily recommend looking him up.
Lupercalia is one of the most compelling pieces of music I've ever heard. I wonder what language it is in, and what the translation would be? Sounds like an old Gaelic chant, maybe sacrificial even......

First time hearing this song, and I never expected to hear Alan Watts on a Faun album. Just made my night.
Es gibt viele gefühlvolle und schöne Lieder von Faun. Aber dieses Lied haut so viele Emtionen raus - ich liebe es einfach.

The chrorus of the song with the hurdy gurdy is just incredible!
That's exactly what I was thinking as well. The hurdy gurdy is one my favorite instruments to hear.

It is in Latin, and it's about the holiday of Lupercalia, celebrated by Romans in February, and concerned with fertility, if I'm not mistaken.
Ich glaube, dass dieses Lied zu einem gewissen Geheimnis spricht
