Sunye's voice is still so relevant. She could've been a great soloist but I'm happy that she's a wife and mother of 3. She lost her mum when she was young. It's amazing how she left her career at her peak. So commendable. Everyone strives for different dreams and happiness and that's ok. So happy to see her back with MMD. Miss her voice so much. Every member in MMD are amazing women. They make me want to be a mother yet still strive for my dreams along the way....
she was already a strong vocalist and dancer, but pair that with her stage presence and charisma.. would’ve been one of the biggest soloist today had she not retired so early
they should have more "experimental" groups like this. I don't know how Korean fans feel, but as an international kpop fan, I'm interested to see other types and forms and shapes and colors and ages of idols; no one should feel restricted from doing something they love and are good at just because they don't fit a certain type. I think this is really cool! It shows that these women still have IT and that a life or career doesn't have to stop after the age of 30.
They weren't that well received, I saw a lot of korean comments in the mv saying that they should have gone for a ballad concept, that they are too old to be singing and dancing like this, and a lot worse. I was so shocked and sad to read those comments...

I wonder what the difference is between Mamadol and SWF (like Aiki is also a mom, Honey J and Monika are in their 30's) that the apparent reception are polar opposites. Kahi - the OG famous back dancer, leader of After School known for their innovative concepts, and now still slaying with her overwhelming charisma. Amazing.
I wish they could promote longer or have another song and continue working as a group because they could literally burn the kpop scene today, but I know that I should accept the fact that they are mothers and their top priorities are their children so it is a vague move to continue with the group. Nevertheless, they made me so invested in them, they did not disappoint my expectation since day one and they even exceeded them. I'm greatly proud of them and Wooah Hip is such a vibe, plus the choreo was on fire. Looking forward to the last episode (even though my heart is not yet ready to let go of them T_T) Mamadol fighting!!!
I know - I felt the same with The Refund Sisters... Oh well - glad for what I get and being stunned into amazement by women that can give us all a run for the money...

i've been so invested in their show and i was so sad to know that it didn't go as big as street woman fighter. the concept is really good, but i guess that shows the ageism in korea. and i thought they were at least gonna do more promotions with this song, i was so sad knowing it was ending so soon ): they said they'll be "competing with the current groups" so i assumed that meant they'll be promoting and going to music shows weekly ): i thought it was gonna be like produce 101 where they'll be a temporary group for at least a few months. so sad, but i'm glad this show happened. i just know that they'll improve even more and be able to dance like the current groups if they were given more time! if only the show got really big in korea, it might've been possible ): anyway, i hope the best for all the moms, i only actually knew sunye and kahi but i fell in love with jungah, hyunjuni, byul, and eunji through this show
honestly, the show deserves to be viral like any other shows because it definitely has a unique concept and the fact that these amazing women performed this song, which is very viral material, after years of rest from performing is insane! They showed that they still have the skill, charisma and not to mention their healthy bodies to show such a high-level performance. *i cried* i really did

technically Eunji danced a bit in baby vox rev but she did have too short of a trainee period to know how to dance well - but she's a determined lady as shown in this show. Byul was one of JYP's first trainees, so she also have some basic training, that paired with her good rhythm sense made her learn dancing very fast on this show. Jyuni was the only one that has no known dancing experience but she was able to match up to Kahi's speed shows that she's SO GOOD! (JungAh is such a mood!)
It is great choreography however there are a lot of tricks employed in filming videos like this that make the movements seem slicker & quicker than they actually are (I'm not disputed that they are excellent dancers though!).
This song always gave me mamamoo vibes, until I found out the producer of this song is from RBW ent (Mamamoos company) and the demo was originally demonstrated by purple kiss (mamamoos juniors)

This is so interesting cause in the west, female singers do both and no-one blinks an eye. While idols appear to step back from the light when they become mothers. I actually love this group and wish they were long term.

Im forever a wonderful and it makes me so happy so see Sunye dancing again! I missed her so much! I also love that she's dancing a modern pop song. She never got to do one in WG since my girls only had retro concepts. Sunye trained for eight years and then was in one of K-pop's biggest groups ever and left to be a mother, I'm sure she feels there's more she could have done with her career but she's also probably super happy to be a mom and to have had the career she had. Im so happy for her.

This is so interesting cause in the west, female singers do both and no-one blinks an eye. While idols appear to step back from the light when they become mothers. I actually love this group and wish they were long term.

와 이렇게 같이 추니까 역시 풍성해보이고 칼군무가 더 돋보이네요. 이제 연습을 엄청청 많이 해서 그런지 엠카운트다운 때보다 더 여유로움이 보이는것 같아요. 벌써 무대가 마지막이라니 너무 아쉽네요, 마마돌. 지난번에 리아킴님 우셨을때 저도 같이 감동 받아 울었었는데, 마마돌 프로젝트 2집도 나왔으면 좋겠어요. 엄마들의 복근 잡힌 몸매를 보면서 매번 각성하고 운동하게 된다는🤣
그냥 개인적인 생각으로 무대 의상보다 이 영상 착장이 더 좋다....심플한 정장 입고하는 무대도 보고싶다 ㅠㅠ 의상 너무 아이돌 느낌내려고해서 아쉬웠는데 이렇게 보니까 노래 느낌이 더 잘 사는듯 진짜 멋있다

Im forever a wonderful and it makes me so happy so see Sunye dancing again! I missed her so much! I also love that she's dancing a modern pop song. She never got to do one in WG since my girls only had retro concepts. Sunye trained for eight years and then was in one of K-pop's biggest groups ever and left to be a mother, I'm sure she feels there's more she could have done with her career but she's also probably super happy to be a mom and to have had the career she had. Im so happy for her.
