- Marriage under Muslim law is a contract and the parties to a marriage must have the capacity of entering into a contract. They must be competent to marry. However, there are some prohibitions which render a marriage void or irregular. Legal disability means the existence of certain circumstances under which marriage is not permitted.
In this lesson of the Muslim Law Series from Legal Bites, Shami Anjali will be discussing the legal disability and prohibitions under Muslim law and their legal consequences on a Muslim marriage.
