People will (rightfully) talk about just how good Embiid’s touch is. But what elevates him to the level he’s at is just how amazing his footwork and handling is for a big man. He makes moves a guard could make at 7’1, you pair that with some of the best footwork the league has ever seen and that’s why he’s so dominant. If he gets a ring at some point in his career the narratives around him will change just as quickly as Jokic’s did in 23.

Embiid is a beast, don’t get me wrong. He’s hated because he is considered to be one of or if not the most dirty player in the NBA. there’s a compilation video of him injuring players. One example of him injuring players is in this playoffs against the Knicks where he pulled Robinsons ankles down and he wasn’t seen in that series. Embiid even after injuring a player he flops after that making it seem “oh it was a mistake.” But when you take a closer look and at the replay again you can see that he knew what he was doing. He’s done this way to many times to call it a coincidence. Once he stops purposefully injuring players and flopping so much then he won’t be hated. While you could make the argument that everybody flops in the NBA like LeBron. You cant argue on the injuring part. When fans of teams see their key players getting injured by Embiid, of course they’ll hate him for that which is where the hate comes from.
